  • 21 days prior, I was in the hospital for 2 days due to the Mt Abram crash that broke 2 ribs and punctured my lung. I had this trip planned for 8 months and wasn't gonna back out. We started out being careful and slow, but its hard to do when you start having so much fun! Aside from the stiffness and shallow breathing it was a great trip. It took awhile to regain confidence at speed and going airborne. I am still getting used to the Transition Spire, but it shows alot of potential, especially on steep tech. I dont care for the launching or air maneuverability as much as the Transition Scout just yet. Jon was AOK after his crash, the full face helmet was of unspeakable value today! Killington has a Huge variety of terrain, and multiple lifts spinning so you can probably get double the riding in a day as compared to Highland. But those double long descents get tiring, and hard to repeat to perfection so both locations have merit and enjoyability.
