I just placed mine in the printer- make sure they are pushed all the way in. I’ve used and replaced a few times with no problem. Even purchased the ink disposal cartridge from the same company- all worked fine
Is it true that if you always leave one of the original ink cartridges for example the black and then you use third party ink in the 3 others the printer will still work? I'm thinking of buying a Sawgrass but the expensive ink is making me second thoughts. Thanks!
@ that may be a better choice I’m not 100% sure but anything other than this sawgrass. With the new updates it doesn’t allow you to use anything but their inks and their software smh . Going in a similar direction as Cricut smh
I have this printer, Sawgrass SG 1000 went to the ink. Did a update on the computer now I can’t get my print manager back when I try to use the Sawgrass I get lines all over the picture. What am I doing wrong?

I'm a little new to this printer. Are you using sawgrass print manager software with this cheaper ink? If so is your Sawgrass Print Manager the updated version.
I use photoshop to design and print manager to print. I never update because and if I’m forced to do it, I do it and it somehow still works for me. I feel as if creative studio is a problem for most people. I NEVER use that
My sawgrass is out of warranty now and need to get cheaper ink. How hard is it to switch to the non-sawgrass ink? Do I need to do anything besides installing the new ink cartridges?
Do you use creative studio? Is your art dpi set to 300? Let me know because usually if its set any higher than 300dpi then it can be slower (300dpi is standard for the size paper being used) if you use creative studio for some reason it can be slow as well

Hey. I see your using another brand of ink. Do you have any problems with your prints because of that? Like imperfections or lines on the prints? I notice that it didn’t say “none sawgrass ink. Do you want to continue .” I am using a different ink with the sublijet chips because I don’t want the printer to start trashing my prints because I’m using a different brand of ink. I appreciate your response.
My bypass tray won’t grab the paper or just darn jams. Please help me. I don’t know what to do. I bought a roll of paper and cutting off and I have the single 13x19 sheets.

@@aliciagonzalez1268 Yes , it worked fine. You may need to do a few print head cleanings and nozzle checks but it should be fine

i can get my printer to print but it wont print green after the update with off market ink

I use this ink in my sg800. The print looks great but after I pressed it on the shirt it looks faded...have you had this issue?

I have been using the same cheap inks for 3 years. Works great for me with rich dark prints and no issues! I hope that helps

I probably cant help much because I dont buy rolls of paper. I buy the cheapest 120g sheets of 13x19 pre cut paper from amazon. I hope that helps

At least 120 gsm sublimation paper… any off market brand works well but the weight is what matters
