unfortunately, corbet's was closed the entire weekend! not sure if it was because of the hard conditions or if it was just a deterrent for the holiday weekend, but we weren't able to get in there all weekend. we still enjoyed a hard weekend of skiing at one of the best resorts in the west! hope you enjoy and don't forget LIVE STREAM tomorrow at 615 mst!!
Hey dude, I've been up at JHMR for the last week, will be here till next sunday. The conditions have been exactly what ya filmed the entire time, mountains one giant sheet of ice. Really really sucks for boarders like myself. I headed over to Grand Targhee and it was a lot better conditions, softer snow, equally tracked out though. Worth a shot if you are in the area anyway.
I have to give to you on skiing alone and staying motivated. I recently lost my ski buddy to a tragic motorcycle accident. I have skied with him since we were in third grade. I am now 57. I am now alone if I want to ski and finding it difficult to want to go. Anyway glad I found your channel. Keep it up.
man russ i am so sorry for your loss. i couldnt imagine going through something like that after knowing someone your whole life. im glad you are able to find solace in the videos. take care.

The fact that you brought Luna along even though there's a condo available just goes to show your dedication to the channel. Keep on living the dream (Thanks for adding more trailing shots, love em)
@@LucasCatania17 I have found when its bad out west its another level of bad. One of my worst days ever skiing took place at Alta. West coast mountains are much steeper and larger so grooming not so much. I had a week like you had at JH in 2010 it was brutal and it got old. Nice video but it sad to see the Hole so thin and hard. Great video. Yesterday at Jackson there was about 5-6 inches of fresh snow on the upper mountain in the AM and another 5-6 inches fell during the day. The Alta chutes are the steepest runs I’ve ever did in my life, and it’s not even considered a double black diamond. I did them when there was a little bit of snow and there were multiple mini avalanches. The friend I was skiing with actually fell at the top and rolled down about and luckily got held up by a tree before falling off a cliff. The Alta chutes are no joke

Loving your videos Lucas. Was just in Jackson and The Ghee last week and always had trouble with our GoPro and insta360 batteries dying in the zero degree weather. Any pro-tips to keep the batteries going other than packing 20 of them? Lol? I've been trying to keep the camera on to generate heat but that only does so much.
thanks dude! my biggest tip would be to keep the batteries close to your body, not in an outside pocket or a backpack. keep them warm and then when they die, you can swap them out and usually once they warm up, they will have charge again! other than that, gopro makes a cold weather battery now but i havent tried it!

thank you so much
Loving your videos Lucas.
Beautiful Day but tough conditions for sure. Still a good day.
yup! beautiful day and views but the snow was iffy!
Awesome! I went to JH last March and it was amazing!
nice man! one of the best resorts out there!
