It is NOT a Castle it is a Manor. A Castle has walls, a Castle has a mote, A Castle has towers, A Castle has a drawbridge. etc, etc, etc

Whenever I see such mansions, i always wonder about the maintenence costs. In India, we have very low-paid workers because our government doesnt care, but i am sure Scotland has a very empathetic government since it is a rich country.

I hope that whosoever buys this priceless treasured land and castle has plenty of resource (of course) but makes a proper community offering.
If you plan to open your doors to Scot, ownership of something so ancestral and so sacral might just be for you; but if they expect Lord or Lady, move on gracefully.
These are no mere real estate, but I spec someone must present these sales as such.

It's a stunner, usually change of life circumstances like moving overseas or downsizing. Would be quite some maintenance if you werent running a business. I believe they were running a Air BNB type business here.

What's wrong with it?
Probably a change of lifestyle for the owners as they were running it as an AIR BNB and Scotland property tends to be better vlue than many parts of the UK. This could be due to high rainfall and colder weather.
After the purchase you have to spend several million more to remove all those horrible stuffed animals; to replace all the terrible beds; to paint over all the horrible animal pictures and walls that are way too dark...

Has a train station attached to the property called Duncraig station, It's on a right of way for the public. During tourist season cars , campervans and walkers descend through the grounds past the properties front door to view the loch from the train station. They all don't stick to the path and like to peer through the windows. I live near to the property if you like it buy it the midges will welcome you. If you like fishing this location is amazing.
