I’m not sure, it’s supposed to be difficult to break but I hear there is a way to buy a new one if yours does get broken. Hopefully I’ll never have to find out though, want to keep this one until the end 😄
I never updated from 1.1.1, and I just learned how to use the convenient save/load duplication glitch available still in that version (along with others) so I got literally over a dozen, some of shield guard up plus 10 something with durability up plus, seven unbreakable MSG not found master swords, and several glitched five shot Dragon Bone, Demon King, and Zoanite bows ps helpful PSA the spread is ridiculously wide for non-multi-shot bows that weren't designed to be that so use fire keese eyeball fusions to your arrows to track and aim upwards if your enemy is not large enough that's standing in front of them and firing will work so they will all connect
There's actually a video that was posted a few weeks ago th-cam.com/video/vEcmkejuWwk/w-d-xo.html sadly most of the best duplication glitches and many of the weapon modification ones were all patched out after 1.1.1 so you'll have to look up specific older videos from around the time of the game is released to figure out those, Good news you can use rock octorocks to upgrade and repair damaged weapons or other equipment, that was intentionally built in by the developers as a nod to rumors that's how it worked in the previous game breath of the wild, so you can take that hylian shield and get it up to shield guard plus 10, also you can fuse normally un-upgradable equipment like light scale Trident, or demon king bow or daybreaker shield and fuse them to a normal shield and you can repair them that way then take them to Tarrytown to break it down by pelison
