The flu pipe is very creative. Before i saw your build, I had the same idea for lifting the starlink dish; i see people having to climb on their roof to set them up and take them down; this would be a great way to do it.

Very cool. 😊. Is the heater large enough to run all night without needing to put more wood on ?

Have you used it enough to discover what happens with creosote build-up? Apparently 100°C is the critical temperature above which there's no problem but I haven't verified this.

We have a bit of build-up. We sweep the flue pipe from time to time.

Thanks for the video. We will try to build something similar, but out of thinner pipes because we have to look on the weight of the build. Do you think the rings holding the cord are necessary, maybe gluing is enough?
For anybody looking for a cheap stove. Kuntsmart in Istanbul sell small wood stoves as well. We bought their smallest one for 110USD at their shop in Istanbul. Don't know about shipping costs though.

How cool that you found an alternative! How do you like their stove?

If you can get it glued strongly, it might be enough. Our bottom chord fell of even with the ring and glue. Doesn't seem to affect the system so we keep it like this.

@@NicoJona We have not used it so far. But it looks very nice and just weights 5kg. Maybe not as good as the "original", but good value for the money, I think.
Okay thanks. I will see if we can go with a thinner flue pipe. Might be tricky to weld a nut to it.
