Dodds had his chance and blew it badly.
He can set up to park the bus, which isn't difficult, and that's about it. The U21s are a much more organised and effective attacking unit than the first team. To me that means Dodds has no place being the first team coach and most of the candidates for HC will not want to have him forced on them by Speakman. Who wants their assistant to be someone who is mates with your boss and will go behind your back when it suits him. I suspect Beale suffered from a bit of that when he tried to change what Dodds thought was best!
If Speakman is determined to keep Dodds then Speakman needs to go too and we can use his wages towards the new HC

No decent self respecting manager (I refuse to use the word coach) will come to Sunderland we have lost credibility as a club under KLD and Speakman. No one will work under Speakman and his cronies. If any so called manager takes the job they have no respect for themselves. The sooner Dreyfus sells up the better.
The only selling point is they will inevitably be sacked (replaced by Dodds) and get a pay off quite quickly. Other than that there is no positive at all is there?

The farmhouse acquired by KLD in cleadon right next to the AOL is deserted gates shut wheelie bins in front of them I’ve been passing it every day for nearly 7 years that covers their time at SAFC on way to work it’s never happened before there could be nowt in it
