@@DaughterofZion4483 I'm unaware of that Rebecca story. I do know that the blessing that Isaac gave Jacob was irreversible by Issac. Esau resented his brother getting that blessing. But, God fixes things in mysterious ways. He made Esau and Jacob loving brothers again. Genesis 33:4.

I need your help. What scriptures are you reading from. I can’t find these readings you are doing from my Bible. I use the NIV, NLT, NASB, ESV, to name a few. I have read from Genesis 27 - 30 and can’t find exactly everything you are reading. Your translations are different than all of mine. Thanks for your help.

("Moses spoke face to face with God as a man speaks to His friend." - Exodus 33:11) And He said to them that if they were true believers in the writings of Moses they'd also be believing in Him. Jesus then told them that He would not be the one who testifies against them about being false teachers of the Torah but Moses would be their judge. Obviously because Moses wrote it and knows what his own writings mean versus what they do not mean and he who judges falsely versus he who judges with revelation knowledge of the truth. The purpose of the law was time contingent. The Israelites had just left Egypt. Because of this they were a newly developing society. Any newly developing society needs some kind of law to regulate the people by deferring crimes through the fear of punishments. That is a given. Therefore God gave the Israelites the most appropriate set of laws being that a) that would not go up the mountain to worship God like Moses and Aaron and b) because instead of worshipping God they decided to start worshipping idols of gold like the Babylonians had done in times past. So because of their evil ways God gave them the laws of Babylon which can be confirmed to be Babylonian laws because almost every law in Deuteronomy and Leviticus is also in the Codex Hamurabbi that predates the Exodus and was discovered roughly 60 years ago . God knew every law in Babylon and He had Moses write them down and give them to the Israelites as their laws since they were acting as Babylonians did by worshipping their idols. God has said many times by warnings and admonishments to the prophets that if His people began to worship the idols of Babylon instead of Him for His mercies and lovingkindness that they would likewise enter into Babylonian captivity as judgement for their sin. If they had not sealed their fate to enter into a 40 year of captivity their only laws would have been the 10 commandments and they would have entered into the Land of Canaan after 11 days journey. But due to the captivity that they brought onto themselves through Babylonian idol worship they were doomed to wander around the wilderness for 40 years and they all perished there except for Joshua and Caleb and Joshue and Caleb's wives and their children because they unlike the other Israelites obeyed the 10 commandments as Moses taught them and they worshipped God just as Moses did and as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had done in years past. They worshipped Him in His Holy Presence and in the midst of myriads of His holy angels where God can be both seen and heard by those He chooses to reveal His shekinah glory to. God has never changed from the dawn of creation to now. His name has always been Christ Jesus. Moses was a Christian. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were all Christians. Adam and Eve were Christians. And Abel and Enoch and Noah. Elijah, Elisha and King David, too. All who have ever known the Living God were followers of Christ. Christ is God.
