Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

25:00 I have read, heard this story about Jacob countless times. I always missed what Brother Spurgeon denotes here. Brother Spurgeon is the type of preacher most of us need to listen to. He shades light on things that one can overlook. I am more awed at the Bible, now knowing how I may have overlooked a line thinking it was straight forward and simple.

This I cannot understand. I know God is completely righteous and true absolutely. And I believe that. But the preacher just said that God puts each one in a position to either find grace or fail and then fall. I still believe God is true and righteous. And certainly He blesses us far more than anyone deserve absolutely. But this I do not understand. How all this can be I do not know. That it is I am sure nevertheless. I believe this sermon is true. Although I cannot fathom this. And even Paul said: "You will ask me then: why then does He (God) still find fault? Oh but who are you oh man? Will the vessel cry out to the Potter why have you made me thus?" So even Paul could not say anything more about this apparently. So.... I believe Paul. God is beyond all good, beautiful, and great words used to describe Him.

The True teachings does not teach hatred but Love and forgiveness .The only way to prove everyone’s love is to God alone ( personal relationship ) .When you showed your Love towards our Creator of the entire planetary universe then everything will be added to each one of us .Jacob and Esau is an illustration and some of us can relate those kind of example . God hated those who use their power in an abusive way at the expense of other people Resist any other pressure from other people that is against your conscience .Never be afraid to speak up the truth so that you can save more people in realistic. Way and above all in Spiritual way .
    ..Did Esau really forgive Jacob?
Then Esau ran to meet him and embraced him, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. And they both wept. - Genesis 33:4 One of the greatest examples of forgiveness in the Old Testament is Esau's forgiveness and acceptance of his brother Jacob.

    Genesis 25:23
And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
lets just act like this verse doesn't exist, the promise was made to Israel(Jacob) not for salvation but to be the nation that God protected to show his power through a nation that shouldn't have been able to exist and to usher in Christ for the new testament. i cant believe that he preachers so well on taking Gods word for what it is and not be blind to the truth, then he does that very thing in the sermon he is preacher right now.

You know, John Bunyan went through the same thing. It comes out in his book "Pilgrim's Progress". Pilgrim was scared to death of dying. I have gone through this, I think any true saved person goes through this, because we look at ourselves and see nothing but a worm, but we have to remember....God's grace has nothing to do with the best about us or the worst about us....It is a work of god alone.
If you weren't concerned about this, I would question whether you were saved.

Elijah. You need to ask Jesus to save your soul! First repent from your sins and ask for forgiveness from the Lord and ask Him to save your soul!! If you have sincerely done that then you are saved. There are times our feelings fool us and we don’t feel saved or fall into sin that makes us feel not saved or we have feelings of unbelief. But you are saved!! Staying in the Bible and going to a good church will help you in your walk with Jesus. Also listen to Spencer Smith on TH-cam. He’s a missionary to Africa and he does all sorts of fantastic podcasts! Keep walking with the Lord. ♥️

God is all knowing. God knows the reactions you will have for any stimulus. He knows the heart of man. He knows who will and who will not respond to his call. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.God set up everything. He preordained even the good works we are blessed to be able to do. The reason God says I hated from before birth is he knew from before birth what a person's reaction to his grace will be. Similar to falling off a high point. You have not hit the ground yet, but because of the law of gravity and the imamate collide you are in regret. You hate the fact the fall will hurt before you hit and hurt. So, if we can anticipate the fall being stupid at best, and god is all knowing, then we can partly understand that God says, I hated because I know. This does not mean that we do not have free will. We do. This only means that God knows what our free will lead us into before we experience the results of or wisdom or foolishness. We still choosePlease choose wiselyMuch is riding on it.

If you have been born again of the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead it means that you believe in Christ Jesus
It doesn’t mean that you have to believe or understand all teachings
Yet the more you read God‘s word you’ll understand who he wants you to be and who he is through the Holy Spirit
I suggest you look up the baptism of the Holy Spirit and seek a new beginning with the great teacher and comforter that Jesus promised to send to all believers
May God richly bless you as you seek him and find him he said that he will answer your prayers in Jesus name

Does Essau remain hated forever? Even after he received his deceitful brother with love? Essau intended to kill Jacob, but when Jacob came back he didn't. So can we say that Essau's repentance was sincere in the end? Why does this preacher leave out this part of the story? Is no one else curious about this? Do we assume Essau to be in hell for the sin of intending to kill his brother, even though his actions show that he repented of it?

Yes. Amen. God's Word is direct and straightforward. Never cozy when there is wrong, rebellion, and wickedness. The truth is, Esau hated God. He was a great rebel. He disrespected and totally disregarded his parents rule and word and law of life. He lived with his back towards his parents, and also towards God. He brought nothing but tears and disappointment to both his parents and to therefore to God. He was a blatant rebel. He deliberately went to mingle with the surrounding heathen nations. The very thing which God instructed Isaac that he and his seed must never do, Esau did it. But God divided the sinful, rebellious genetics of Isaacs blood into the blood pool of Esau in order to make purify and cleanse Jocabs blood from sin. So, Jacob had purer more holy and obedient blood. Yes God had mercy on Jacob, but He formed Jacob in the womb. He did create Jacob to be the better son. Jacob was a very obedient son. He did not have it in him to be disobedient to his mother.

Any religion that recognizes the bible as inspired by God should take note of such scriptures as Amos 9:11-15.
Verse 15 makes it very apparent that this is an end time and even post Armageddon prophecy. In all other exiles that Israel and Judah went into they would return and go back into again. But as vs 15 brings out this time they return and become permanently established.
Whether verses 11-15 are applied to physical or spiritual Israel and Judah, they still stand as end time post Armageddon prophecies.
Now, it's within this context of biblical prophecy the nation of Edom along with some other nations are spoken of as becoming a possession of Israel. This tells us Edom is still around. That it wasn't completely eliminated 2000 years ago as some Christians teach.
Does Edom become a possession in the sense of being a subject of the nation of Israel? Or by being put into outright servitude to it? Compare Isaiah 14:1-2. 61:6-7.
According to the Bible Edom has been a prime opposer of God's people. Malachi 1:4. Joel 3:6,19-20. We learn from Amos chapter nine that the nation of Edom is still around in the end times and post Armageddon period. So, any zealous bible student might want to know who are these people today? What name or names do they go under right now? And do they still collectively oppose Israel or God's purpose in general?

The reason God hated Easu is told us from the very beginning of his birth, it was because his red hair, more specifically his genetics. He was not just an abnormally hairy man, he was hairy as a sheep which we know from Jacob deceiving his blind father(Issac) by covering his hands in sheep's wool. The overly excessive amout of hair was a sign that he had Nephilim DNA. The off-spring of the Watchers are an abomination, and God cursed them, Easu carried those traits, and we're told that Jacob was born "very ordinary" which meant perfect back then. Jacob was not born with the Nephilim genes, hence the ordinary perfectness. It is from Easu's line that gaints of the Bible come from, and Jesus came from Jacob's. Also, I'd like to point out Gen 3:15 where we're told man will bruise the head of the Serpent and he will bruise man's heel. I think Easu being born first, was Satan's attempt to bruise the Head of the man. Since, Easu, being first meant he would receive Abraham's blessings from God, and become the Head(Patriarch). And Jacob came out holding on to Easu's heel to "reflect" Gen 3:15.
