    I also took apart a brand new generator took the piston out and trying to make that spin with a DC motor. They have everything regulated so I took the whole circuit board off. Of course it's for safety fail safes bt it also is used to stop you from usiig to get power another way and more of it! Like them 24vdc bike motors. No matter how face you spin it won't create more than 15v the wind generator the faster it goes the more it makes. Alternator are designed so it is hard to use it to create consistent power for your house. U less you spin it a certain speed it will overheat and the magnets lose there power then eventually seizing up. I also think a magnetic field creates power just by disturbing it. I had a small rotor hooked up with magnets underneath hooked the voltmeter to the magnets. I got up to grab something and noticed the voltage climbing on the meter. I sat down it stopped. Wave my arms it would climb again.

      thank's.......It depends a lot on the type of rotor used, surely there will be a need to multiply the number of revolutions given the lower speed of a vertical rotor compared to a horizontal rotor. Even a simple Savonius rotor with multiplication of revolutions.

    Hello sir.what the name equipment to monitor about voltage , current and power ??

  •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You should check up hoverboard 6.5' motor. It probably will be the cheap and powerful solution. My measurements (after rectification, no-load, open-circuit) - 285RPM -> 15VDC, 335RPM -> 18VDC, 410RPM -> 22VDC. Price $10 new refurb or purchase a hoverboard for $25 with all the electronics and battery with 2 motors like that. Let me know what do you think.
    Great job with all the tests!

      @ i tested one cheap, and got 12v only at 340rpm 18v at 440rpm, and around 50-60watts under charge.But my hub motors are from a cheapest version of hoverboards, the coils are made in aluminum with cooper layer. The best option are the real hub motors for electric motorcycles, around 150 dollars, but 1500w vs the 350watts of all average hoverboards.

    Great videos, man! Question: I have a PMA with a 14 magnet rotor and a Supercore field. Will it put out AC from the 3-wire connectors inside AND DC from the + and - connections on the back of the case at the same time, or do I have to choose AC or DC only? Thanks!

      @@windturbine - The turbine is made from an automobile alternator that has a three-connection AC rectifier inside, and a positive and negative DC connection on the case. I was wondering if it will put out usable current from both AC and DC at the same time?

    I have a 24v DC motor spinning a wind generator hooked up shaft to shaft. That can create 100 DC volts. I'm going to use a second 24v motor to spin the first one with a belt. Add power to the first motor connect the second motors leads making sure they are spining I the same direction. Disconnect 1st motor it will run itself. But I'm not sure what to do with the 100 DC volts? Should I split the power to a bunch of charge controllers and charge a battery bank? Or do I run it into 1 bigger charge controller That can handle the voltage? I was thinking about running it threw a microwave transformer because then wouldn't I collect more amps and watts ? Any ideas. Quiet as hell too

      You can use an MPPT charge controller that accepts input up to 100 volts.

    hello, I have the same system with such a 300 watt generator, my battery is 7ah old. when spinning at 520 rpm, it gives only 0.2ah , at the same time, like in your video, the green indicator (brake) is on, what could be the problem? or do I need to spin it up to 800rpm?

    • @windturbine
      @windturbine  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hallo Alexander, a 7ah battery is really too small for these charging powers, the lighting of the "brake" LED indicates the power block by the regulator due to excessive battery charge.

      0.2Amper is supplied to the battery. is this a problem with the controller or with the wind turbine?
