Tom Ford’s Champaca Absolute was my first Tom Ford fragrance buy in 2017. I loved it. I’ve always avoided Tobacco Vanille, but if you’re saying it’s a masterpiece....I’ll have to get it now.

The addict you have pictured is the 2012 formulation which is different from the one you would get today. The formulation today has mandarin leaf, orange blossom, sambac Jasmin and bourbon vanilla. The 2012 version, which is the one I have, has silkwood blossom, mandarin orange, orange blossom, cereus, bulgarian rose, vanilla, sandalwood, and tonka bean and is so so nice. It's mostly a spicy vanilla fragrance with so much depth. Highly recommend.
Thank you for confirming that Addict has been reformulated. I used yo wear it in '03 and I LOOOOOOVED it. I tried it last year and it just didn't hit for me. I thought it may have been reformulated but the fragrance consultant said it hadn't.

The fragrance consultant must not be educated on it but after it released in '02 it was then reformulated in '12 and then again in '14. They have all 3 formulations and notes on fragrantica. I never tried the original formulation but I hear it's amazing as well.

Yay I’m glad you got your nose on Addict, I know it’s not your cup of tea but you may end up craving it down the line, it’s appropriately named “Addict” 😂 TF Tobacco Vanille used to be my signature scent before my obsession with fragrance exploded, I agree it is a masterpiece! Quick tip, if your guy has a beard, Tom Ford makes an A+ beard oil in Tobacco Vanille. I may have to check out Royalty Scents, their packaging looks super lux.
Yes Tom Ford Lost Cherry is amazing. I got a 100ml bottle and omg I can't stop wearing it. And the smell that lingers on the clothes is so addictive. I recommend it to everyone. The bottle is beautiful too

PerfumeswithPat both are. Dior Addict is however on a whole new level of sexy. The unapologetic kind. I think. I have to be on the right mindset to wear it. Otherwise it is too much. Loss Cherry is an easy reach.
I love the Dior Addict lip gloss, I didn’t know about the fragrance, It’s sounds “good good”. The way you’re describing the Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille it’s giving me Teddy P. vibes “turn off the lights and light a candle.”
Nice review. As a man, I really dig Tom Ford fragrances! I just purchased Lost Cherry for myself, though I know many people think it leans feminine and I can understand why. But a confident man can pull this fragrance off no problem. If I want to add some masculinity to the scent, I sometimes layer it with Tobacco Vanille (my autumn/winter scent). The combination of Lost Cherry with Tobacco Vanille blends wonderfully to produce a boozy cherry pipe tobacco scent or something reminiscent of a top notch Havana sweetened cigar.
I find the same thing with tobacco vanilla in the opposite sense, it’s more masculine leading but the right woman can pull it off very well. I own both lost cherry and tobacco vanille and while I love and wear both, tobacco vanille smells amazing on my skin and runs more sweeter on me. I’ve met men who wear lost cherry and as you said it’s the confident, charismatic man that makes it work. Tom Ford is my favourite fragrance house by far, I love almost all the fragrances they put out
It's funny that you mention Dior Addict. It's a beautiful scent that I blind purchased so I will keep it but I will not repurchase. We definitely have the same taste in fragrance. I don't like Lost Cherry.😖 I plan on trying Tom Ford Champaca Absolute and Tobacco Vanille
I blind bought Dior - Addict in March, so I didn't try it yet-weather is still hot. But when I first spray it - it was wow.... very strong for my taste. I will waiting winter to wear it and see 🤷♀️😂

I got a sample of Dior Addict and I just can't do it. It's a little too masculine to me. If it had just been tweaked a little more it could've worked but I just have to stick to hypnotic poison which I think has a similar vibe.
You should layer it with a sweeter, more feminine scent to make it more feminine. Mixing fragrance can really elevate the scent profile so definitely give that a go if you still have the sample
Your reviews are so on point. I agree that Lost Cherry is very nice, but not sure if it’s full bottle worthy. I also recently tried Tobacco Vanille and totally fell in love, it is really good, and I love it on my husband as well ❤️

I had a RS decant and initially it didn't do it for me. I recently revisited that decant and wow! I'm convinced and want a small bottle because I want to get through these perfumes 🤣. I used to faithfully wear Addict when it came out. It was my go-to fragrance. Tried it again and it didn't do the same thing for me. I think it's been reformulated. I currently have my nose on Vanille Fatale. The smoky tobacco in Tobacco Vanille turns up too much on me 😅.
I just won the BeLayered giveaway and I picked Cherry Delight which is a dupe for Tom Ford Lost Cherry. Smells amazing!!!! If you want to layer Lost Cherry, layer it with Chanel Chance. It is a beast amaze balls for date night fall evening! It’s truly stunning I’m not kidding! That’s why I did.
Tobacco Vanille was one of my first Tom Fords. I loved it from the first sniff. But, the decant I had was better. 😔 It’s still a 10/10 tho! I wasn’t a fan of Tuscan Leather. We have a pretty large master bath and it lingered in the air for two days. I want Rive Deambre and Amber Absolute next.

Cheraye - your videos absolutely make my day keep them coming! 💗 one question, how has your experience been so far with royalty scents? I tried them out because you use them as well and I’m having a really bad experience with them...they never respond to my emails, take 10 or more days to ship (and this is with me having to constantly email them asking when they would be able to ship after patiently waiting for about a week), and after I send them multiple emails after the 7 day mark to follow up on shipping they never reply and I just receive a shipment confirmation email. Most of my emails go unanswered and they just seem really unprofessional and unfriendly. I’ve been loving the affordability of their fragrances though...it just sucks because I was hoping to have the great experience they’ve given you but they’ve been very rude and do not ship my box until I’ve politely emailed them multiple times if they could do so after a week or two. Wanted to know your thoughts! ❤️

I love it as well!! While there are no rules to fragrance and you can wear whatever you want, whenever you want, I personally wear it on cold days/evenings, when I’m dressed up, to meetings and high class events. It’s very sexy in a classy way, I just imagine an attractive woman (because I’m a female and it’s a unisex scent) smoking a juicy vintage cigar at an expensive bar while it’s snowing outside. I absolutely love it and I where it all the time except in spring/summer and when it’s too hot

I had a RS decant and initially it didn't do it for me. I recently revisited that decant and wow! I'm convinced and want a small bottle because I want to get through these perfumes 🤣. But yes, upon revisiting Dior Addict, I want it. It's beautiful! I'm learning, thanks to you, to revisit and play with fragrances. Weather seems to matter. Ty!

I used to faithfully wear Addict when it came out. It was my go-to fragrance. Tried it again and it didn't do the same thing for me. I think it's been reformulated. I currently have my nose on Vanille Fatale. The smoky tobacco in Tobacco Vanille turns up too much on me 😅.

I just won the BeLayered giveaway and I picked Cherry Delight which is a dupe for Tom Ford Lost Cherry. Smells amazing!!!! If you want to layer Lost Cherry, layer it with Chanel Chance. It is a beast amaze balls for date night fall evening! It’s truly stunning I’m not kidding! That’s why I did.

Tobacco Vanille was one of my first Tom Fords. I loved it from the first sniff. But, the decant I had was better. 😔 It’s still a 10/10 tho! I wasn’t a fan of Tuscan Leather. We have a pretty large master bath and it lingered in the air for two days. I want Rive Deambre and Amber Absolute next.

Cheraye - your videos absolutely make my day keep them coming! 💗 one question, how has your experience been so far with royalty scents? I tried them out because you use them as well and I’m having a really bad experience with them...they never respond to my emails, take 10 or more days to ship (and this is with me having to constantly email them asking when they would be able to ship after patiently waiting for about a week), and after I send them multiple emails after the 7 day mark to follow up on shipping they never reply and I just receive a shipment confirmation email. Most of my emails go unanswered and they just seem really unprofessional and unfriendly. I’ve been loving the affordability of their fragrances though...it just sucks because I was hoping to have the great experience they’ve given you but they’ve been very rude and do not ship my box until I’ve politely emailed them multiple times if they could do so after a week or two. Wanted to know your thoughts! ❤️

It was a beautiful fragrance and perhaps I'll try it again once it gets colder here, but for right now it's not for bottle worthy for me... but it's good 👍🏽

I get alot of man what is that when i wear it , its the cognac It hits different . I put my subscription on hold but im jumping back in to royalty scents this oct . Dior addict is great but reminds me of my aunt she douses herself in this so i hate that it feels like my aunt is all around me dam . I found a good one that i will definitely get a big bottle of its Malin and Goetz : Dark rum its amazing Tobacco V i have a small decant from sephors before pandemic i never used it im gonna try it today and see update Tobacco V i will be ordering soon as possible !! its that coco powder

I love it as well!! While there are no rules to fragrance and you can wear whatever you want, whenever you want, I personally wear it on cold days/evenings, when I’m dressed up, to meetings and high class events. It’s very sexy in a classy way, I just imagine an attractive woman (because I’m a female and it’s a unisex scent) smoking a juicy vintage cigar at an expensive bar while it’s snowing outside. I absolutely love it and I where it all the time except in spring/summer and when it’s too hot
