Bluetti really do need to make that DC-DC capable of charging their power banks

Sorry I'm a bit late to your video.
The AC200L actually has a DC input, it's just that a Cigarette Socket has a very low maximum 15 amp output as well as the AC200L having a low input of 10 amps I think. According to Bluetti the charge is: 12V/24V Car Outlet (100W/200W): ≈10 or 20 Hours.
I like that they have enabled the AC200L to connect to an existing 12v system so you can turn lights on etc via smart switches.
So here's what I would like:
Ability to connect to the AC200L using a 8B&S - 50 Amps - 7.71mm2 cable from the car battery terminated with an Anderson plug.
Bluetti DC input Socket to Anderson plug cable, capable of accepting at least 45 amps.
Ability to Charge with Vehicle and Solar input at the same time, so two separate input sockets one to plug in the Solar input and one to plug in the Vehicle DC input at the same time. (As you can with AC and Solar)
Here's my reasoning. I intend to base my 12v system on a Bluetti Power Station with the ONLY power source being my Ranger Wildtrack and Solar Panels.
I would also like to utilize the power backup facility when the power goes out in my area which is usual twice a year.
I hope they make it where it can charge the power station with vehicle alternator, I will be using my Bluetti stations for my main power when I hit the road.
so alot of people use these power stations for the vans etc, and ideally you'd like them under the seat for example tucked away, (rather than buying individual lithium batteries and invertors etc they come at huge costs) so what would be cool and ideal, is for them to make an external screen so you could see all your in/out power that's coming from these units. we all love to see stats when camping out bush, how much amperage is going in and out, so yeah id like to see some small form factor tablet/screen that connects to these bluetti stations then we could really get these units hard mounted in cars/vans

Like the bloke above me said, there is an app where you can connect via Bluetooth to checkout the system on your phone.
Such a sick product but they need one with a proper build in dcdc charger not just a 10amp cig plug. If they did its a perfect removable set up for a camper trailer.
Absolutely 👍🏼 it’s probably the one thing missing with these units is vehicle charging. Hopefully they listen and bring something out soon.
Get the Pecron dc to dc which is only $150 and charges up to 500w and it’s universal.
Like you said, we need a DC to DC charger that will charge from the car battery to the AC200L. That would be magical.

Bluetti needs to make a few changes like you said anderson plugs and also the one big problem i have with my ac200 max is the ciggy lighter socket is pi55 weak and my fridge cable never stays in, they need to fit the engle style screw on fitting like dometic use . and finally they need to make some kind of adaptor for the expansion battery packs so you can run the B230 with the B300 , from what im told is you cant mix and match
Yep 100% agree that any you plug into these units needs to be a solid connection that can’t fall out.
I’d like to see a power station that has Anderson in for vehicle and solar charging of at least 25amps with Anderson outs so you can connect fridges, travel buddy’s etc so it pretty much is an all in one dual battery system. You can save thousands on electrical install costs and you can then install into a new car or use on multiple cars, boats or caravans.
I would love one of these to charge all my equipment that I use to weigh caravans.
100% mate ! Been saying this for years, these companies could absolutely build an all in one setup. Would be such a game changer for people who want that all round portable system.
@@TyFenwick it would be so good to be able to buy a new car, run a cable to the back and plug straight into the power station. Dual battery system with inverter and solar installed in an hour

Bit of a waste of power dc to ac then back to dc. But I understand what you’re doing.
Doesn't that stress your alternator? I mean the alternator has to keep your starter battery charged and if you are taking all the power from your starter battery by running a 1200-watt inverter, won't you eventually lose power to your headlights and other electronics? I would be interested in finding out how much juice your battery has after a couple of hours of driving time.
Maybe if you connected The alternator through the DC Charger to the solar input of the bluetti it might work only thing is the amperage might be too high as bluetti input from Solar is 15 Amp Max

How are you getting past the double regulation with the input ? I’m assuming it’s going into same connection you’d put solar panels ?

Your power analyzer can be used up to 150A? how many volts limit? I saw a similar product different brand but it says 60v max, so that means it cant be used in solar panel arrays?

Cant you charge the bluetti from the 12v batts your charging with the alternator? If using a single 12v youd have to use the cig input on the bluetti and only get a 100w alow but youd still be charging with the engine off
I have the 180. But I would like to see something like a plug in jump starter setup so if you have a flat battery you could plug it into your bluetti to start the vehicle.
