Actually they want people to go to theaters to see Lilo and Stitch the weekend Epic Universe opens, whether they have any Stitch tie-ins at Disney World remains to be seen.
Also keep in mind with those wait times that Disney has had an incredibly poor track record with rides staying in operation at least since Covid. Something like 2-3 rides on average are down for maintenance due to ride failure at any given time supposedly even if the down times are only a few hours at a time. I'm from UK, I've been going to Florida every year since 2015 (Convid aside) and this coming year is the first year I'll be going nowhere near a Disney park. I've absolutely no interest in any of their DEI crap. I've pretty much cut Disney off since 2021. (Stupidly went to Magic Kingdom 2023 and 24) It's now a souless dump and is literally a cash grab. Now you could maybe put up with that if the rides aren't falling to bits. The same rides breaking down and not operating in 2023 were the same rides breaking down in 24. Universal and SeaWorld from here in and I highly doubt I'll ever be back to Disney, They facked around and found it.
Was there the past 8 days or so. First week (Monday to Friday to dec 20th) was dead. Saturday 21st at Magic kingdom was definitely crowded, but it would be disastrous if it wasn’t
Going to a Disney park is a huge waste of money. I haven't been there is 2015 and I will never go back. I booked a 15 day Princess Cruise to Norway and Iceland cheaper than going to one of Disney's Park. Strange how Iger continues to make so many bad decisions, lose billions of dollars, and then lies and says everything is ok. Thank you for the video.
@@Beckola44 that's one thing I don't understand. If Disney isn't an option, it's cruising or a European vacation. Why isn't visiting other parks not an option? Parks like Cedar Point, Dollywood

Back in the 70's I wrote a letter to Disney asking if there were any entry level job openings in their animation department. I got a letter back saying "yes" and they told me where to ask for and get a job application. I didn't follow up on it. I would have painted "cells" over and over, getting $2.65 an hour, until the computers took that job over.
Disney World has a reckoning coming when Epic Universe opens. We went in October because we had never seen the Halloween decorations. We went for 4 days and would have never known attendance was down.
11:57.....this guy is spot on! I used to have an after 4pm Epcot pass that was good 365 days a year. Liked to go around World Showcase and sample the food and drink from the different countries.....but nooooooo! They had to do away with that! They'd rather cater to (while they're price gouging) The Smithton Family from Wisconsin who want to give little Johnny and Susie their best vacation ever, because that's what their parents did for them back in the day. Not the same place, folks!
This may be the case with WDWFL, this is definitely not the case with DLCA. We took the whole family in the middle of Nov and it was packed! almost to the point that they should restrict ticket sales. My wife and I went again the 3rd week of December and while not as packed, it was still extremely busy.
I arrived Dec 2nd for 4 nights. it was not slow, it was crowded. Epcot was busy. 75 min for Living w the Land overlay. this doesn't take into account people not in lines, going to the booths for Festival of the Holidays. MK had some long waits also.
We were there two weeks ago Monday and we left the Magic Kingdom because we could not get on anything. So crowded! We also noticed so few people spoke English. We did not buy lightning passes. We just left went over to Epcot. It was much better.
We were in parks 12/5 to 12/15. My sister and her husband visit me. It was busy, did not ride everything bc lines were too long, every park had several big rides not working (Coaster and Tower at DHS), had lunch in parks but ate dinner off property or at home (I am local). Merchandise too expensive even with (retired) cast holiday discount. We used to buy it all. I bought two things, my sister bought two things and her husband bought nothing. But the parks were still busy. You guys only talk about AP holders. Cast members are blocked out alot, too.
in fairness - the first half of December is "slow" with the week of and week after christmas (This week and next) driving December with insane attendance. (the two weeks kids are off school). so lets check back in a couple weeks. we go to Orlando every early January - though not Disney anymore.
We are currently here at WDW. With the exception of mid day and bottle neck areas crowd levels are on par with early summer. A 30 min wait for Mickey's Runaway Railroad at 7:00 pm on the 23rd. Crazy.
I understand they're thinking on rivers of America and how it needs to be updated! But what doesn't make sense to me is in Florida they have unlimited amount of land. Therefore, why would you ever get rid of something so damn iconic as the rivers of America and that Tom Sawyer's Island when you literally have unlimited land to develop on. That is what does not make sense. I don't know about all of you but the rivers of America are just as iconic as the castle in my opinion
I stopped Disney back in 1984 when I saw what disgusting pictures they hid in their Disney books my little son was looking at, when I found out I tore up every book, videos, etc.

You guys want us to believe the low attendance stories but their profits tell a different story. I don’t like what Disney corporate is doing but financially, they are doing quite well.
No. You said that when the October turnout was lower than usual you were not worried at all about the holiday Disney World traffic, it would be burngeoning as always.
Just spent 3 days at WDW from Dec 22-25. I was shocked how empty it was on the 24th (good for us), and the 25th was quite busy. Parking lots were about half full.
I live 6 miles from the WDW parks, and go a couple times a week, just weekdays. It’s too busy for me to wait in lines. It isn’t jammed, but it’s very far from crashing.
Earnings presentation will be the same as usual. Investors will want to know where the money is, and Bob Iger will tell them he feels good. Investors will take that for an answer, and life will go on.
Since September I spent over 2000 at the Disney cape May cafe my daughter loves it so much. But it’s really pricey maybe next year I will stop going back to the cape May cafe 😢😢😢
Are the Wait Time numbers being skewed by the multiple new Lightning Passes--which coincidentally came out in time to effect the Sept, Oct and Dec numbers? Is it possible it is no longer a reliable indicator of how busy the park is because a large number of walk straight to the ride guests are being overlooked?
Promoting perversion and charging big bucks for it may not prove to be a great business model. If Disney does not straighten itself out out, I’m not optimistic about the future of that company.
I was just down in Orlando for last week and most definitely did not go to the parks (did go to disney springs for an afternoon though & spent $75). Didn't miss it in the least.
Pro, I played the video you made with christmas songs here in my house today, while my family had dinner :-) God bless! Merry Christmas! Christ is King!
Funny enough, I haven't received notices (and thus call in info) for the last two investor calls. I don't own a ton of shares, but I'm still a shareholder. Interesting.
I took my family to wdw 4 times from 2020-2024 (never stayed on property, too expensive)...we are going back to Florida in 2025 but are just doing a beach vacation instead. The magic decreased and the cost increased so I'm out.
I went to DW from 12/3 - 12/8. Not sure if the weekend attendance is higher, but there was double the number of people on 12/7 and 12/8 in all areas and we park hopped.
Don't listen to this channel, they are liars and gaslighters. They only make this videos for views. I was at Disney in November for a week and last week for a few days and it's just as crowded as always. In November I also went to Universal and most rides were under 20 mins and single rider was walk on.
They priced out most people. Screw them.
And to make matters worse, their gonna destroy muppet vision 3D and rivers of america

Why would anyone invest in crap no customer wants
Because their idiots
Going to a Disney park is a huge waste of money. I haven't been there is 2015 and I will never go back. I booked a 15 day Princess Cruise to Norway and Iceland cheaper than going to one of Disney's Park. Strange how Iger continues to make so many bad decisions, lose billions of dollars, and then lies and says everything is ok. Thank you for the video.
@@Beckola44 that's one thing I don't understand. If Disney isn't an option, it's cruising or a European vacation. Why isn't visiting other parks not an option? Parks like Cedar Point, Dollywood
@@jasonbyl8695 Every other year my wife and I go to different countries in Europe and Asia. The other years we hit our vacation resorts in different states / cities where we would go to some of the parks.
We are here right now and the crowds are insane, more people than I have ever seen here
Back in the 70's I wrote a letter to Disney asking if there were any entry level job openings in their animation department. I got a letter back saying "yes" and they told me where to ask for and get a job application. I didn't follow up on it. I would have painted "cells" over and over, getting $2.65 an hour, until the computers took that job over.
Was at EPCOT 2 weekends before Christmas - there were a TON of people
Disney World has a reckoning coming when Epic Universe opens.
Pretty much everyone hates Disney and are just laughing at their pathetic attempts to hold on.
So people don’t want to waste money at the busiest and most crowded time of the year at an overpriced park during a recession? What a shock. 🤷🏻♂️
We are currently here at WDW. With the exception of mid day and bottle neck areas crowd levels are on par with early summer. A 30 min wait for Mickey's Runaway Railroad at 7:00 pm on the 23rd. Crazy.
Disney, sell ESPN, get rid of CNN, and ABC, sell the amusement parks. Do this and you'll be fine.
Um, Disney doesn’t own CNN. Time Warner does.
Not only Disney whole stock market will crash after the holidays
I understand they're thinking on rivers of America and how it needs to be updated! But what doesn't make sense to me is in Florida they have unlimited amount of land. Therefore, why would you ever get rid of something so damn iconic as the rivers of America and that Tom Sawyer's Island when you literally have unlimited land to develop on. That is what does not make sense. I don't know about all of you but the rivers of America are just as iconic as the castle in my opinion
I was there from 12/8 to 12/14 and it was packed, popular rides over an hour wait
I stopped Disney back in 1984 when I saw what disgusting pictures they hid in their Disney books my little son was looking at, when I found out I tore up every book, videos, etc.
Holy cow this is when Michael Jackson was at his peak
That place sucks now
Michael Eisners years were the best for that place. Fortunately the folks at universal know how to create and manage theme parks
went two weeks ago to magic kingdom road jingle cruise pirates and huanted mantion and riverboat ride my wife.and did not wait at all walked on every ride so disappointed in the Christmas decorations
I will now be using. "Huffing Farts " on occasion😂
Im 54, never been to disney and dont plan on changing that...
Just spent 3 days at WDW from Dec 22-25. I was shocked how empty it was on the 24th (good for us), and the 25th was quite busy. Parking lots were about half full.
All will be revealed when Epic Universe goes live and then they can hide the truth, that people are going elsewhere for fun.
I was at disney springs yesterday I left because it was to crowded
We just were there a few weeks ago and it was BEDLAM! $190.00 for one day?? Crowds so thick it took 20 minutes to go 50 yds. I didn't see it.
We were there two weeks ago Monday and the place was jampacked
Disneyland was packed 22nd and 23rd. Haunted Mansion Holiday was a 85 minute wait………
I live 6 miles from the WDW parks, and go a couple times a week, just weekdays. It’s too busy for me to wait in lines. It isn’t jammed, but it’s very far from crashing.
No, you mustn't support the woke company.
Earnings presentation will be the same as usual. Investors will want to know where the money is, and Bob Iger will tell them he feels good. Investors will take that for an answer, and life will go on.
You fail to take into account the Treasure coming on line in Jan...it launched 21st December
Since September I spent over 2000 at the Disney cape May cafe my daughter loves it so much. But it’s really pricey maybe next year I will stop going back to the cape May cafe 😢😢😢
Coney Island, Atlantic City and now Disneyworld joins the list of has-beens. A lot of places people can vacation at for half the price.
I was at Walt Disney World the first week of December, during a weekday, it was very crowded.
I was just down in Orlando for last week and most definitely did not go to the parks (did go to disney springs for an afternoon though & spent $75). Didn't miss it in the least.
Who is Kevin Apollo? He never says anything.
Marvin makes a great point about the people that are coming (Passholders) are not the people they want...
Too expensive... I lost faith in Disney when they allowed celebrities to rent the whole park to themselves.
Pro, I played the video you made with christmas songs here in my house today, while my family had dinner :-) God bless! Merry Christmas! Christ is King!
Hasn't disney been doing blackrock's bidding and lying to everybody else for a couple of *decades*?
Disney is looking has some very difficult times ahead. Mismanagement has taken its toll on operations.
Sadly it was true. Today was dismal and I’ve worked there at the highest peak. Today was slow considerably
Pro, Not a pixie duster, however any real decline in attendance is not noticeable at the park.
Corporate greed has already outpriced Florida residents. We can't even afford to go, and we live here.
Funny enough, I haven't received notices (and thus call in info) for the last two investor calls. I don't own a ton of shares, but I'm still a shareholder. Interesting.
I would sell
@cue881-yo7kz now I'm petty and want to send in complaints to the shareholder inbox
I took my family to wdw 4 times from 2020-2024 (never stayed on property, too expensive)...we are going back to Florida in 2025 but are just doing a beach vacation instead. The magic decreased and the cost increased so I'm out.
It's was crashing this time last year wasn't it??????
I went twice in December Both times it was so crowded i could hardly walk
I went to DW from 12/3 - 12/8. Not sure if the weekend attendance is higher, but there was double the number of people on 12/7 and 12/8 in all areas and we park hopped.
Don't listen to this channel, they are liars and gaslighters. They only make this videos for views. I was at Disney in November for a week and last week for a few days and it's just as crowded as always. In November I also went to Universal and most rides were under 20 mins and single rider was walk on.
It doesn’t help that the cost of everything has gone up and up. So you decide expensive vacation or pay for every day expenses.
Stock price should be nowhere near $112. It should have stayed around the $88-90 range and even that is too high.
