The World to me is about self-actualization. It is related to Saturn, which takes 30 years to revolve around the sun so I also see The World as depicting someone’s first Saturn Return around age 30 (+-3 yrs) when you are starting your vocational path or work career. Your SecondSaturn Return happens around 60, the time of closing your work path and you begin a new phase as a retired person, who’s hopefully integrated all lessons and now has developed the ability to contribute something wise to the world as a legacy. Wow..a new level of unknowing! I threw everything I thought I knew away after leaving a religious cult of 30 years. Started over and am really enjoying unknowing. The world card totally means much to me and your delightful understanding gives freedom to appreciate the little bit in you and in others that's in me.
I pulled the world while thinking about trying to convince and i just got chills on 9:10 but idk if it’s taking about my journey as the fool was me going into the world years ago with my first child at 16/17 but now I’m definitely more of the world in my view of life and others
Me and my fiancé got engaged and we had a reading we got the world for the past. The ace of swords for the present and the two of wands for the immediate future. Then we got the world again for 5 years from now. When we found each other it felt like we were finally complete…the world really resonated with us that we must remember how we came together and that we felt as tho this felt like completion for us. The ace of swords reminded us that we need to fight together with our power not against one another which we sometimes forget being together for a good while now. The two of wands was crazy cause hours before our reading we bought tickets to electric forest. She talked about a trip that would be very meaningful about 6 months from now….the trip is exactly 6 months from now.. then the world again for our long term relationship..again reminding us that we complete each other and to never forget that. Was my first reading and it was very powerful.
Excellent journaling questions and insights to this card. I drew it today. I've realized in the past few days that the long delayed time to move has come. I'm not ready. The wreath may symbolize a protection from the toxic aspects of the world; a sort of wisdom that worldly affairs have no real importance. It's akin to transcendence and unconditional acceptance that leads to inner peace. There's no need to be distracted, depressed or aggravated by the larger events that one has no control over. Her place in her world is within her power. At some point in life one let's go of what's going on "out there" and builds their world from within.

I want to thank you and say how grateful I am having really needed to revisit my spiritual side for my personal challenges I am fighting to get through. I have experienced the world at the lower polarity in coming full circle repeating the same lessons but negatively and making the same poor choices . I went back to him few times and got married and yes, I learned the lesson, we are divorcing. I was for sure naïf and didn’t know a lot of things, so happy to be with anyone and innocent. But now I am different. I don’t need to be with anybody. I’m satisfied with me and don’t need to accept disrespect. I am done with the abuse bootcamp I have been part just because I couldn’t be alone. I’m whole and I bring wholeness to relationships so my people will find me. I graduated. I am taken this card after my question with universe to give me a perfect and honest answer. My question is: Did the power rulering israel in middle east will end before end of year 2024. Answer is yes and the world card appears ! Any one advice about this?
The world is one of my two birth cards (the second The Empress) and your share is closer to any description that I've come across. One thing that I can say for sure is that I've come into this life with a certain level of know and calm. It has been shown and reflected to me in leadership positions, as a parent and through friendships over and over again that I am able to guide and support through having been so myself through or by the divine. I truly feel divinely guided, supported and protected and providing a certainty that sometimes confuses people around me.
One way I relate the Major Arcana to my life is to go through them chronologically so by the time I was 21, I was at my first World year. Afterwards, I was a new man (22) and then the next year (age 23) started at 0 again. At age 34 now, I am at the Strength card
I absolutely loved your explanation. I just did a tarot spread where I got the Fool as the letting go energy and the World as the energy to activate in my life. As I'm going through a major life shift (career, family, relationships, home, country), it was confirming to see those two cards together. However, I was having a hard time understanding their differences and similarities, and you explained it so beautifully. Building on your explanation, I came to think that the trust and confidence the Fool has comes from the external world, and that's why it suffers so much when facing hard realities. But in the World, the woman has gone through it all and her trust and confidence comes from within. Thank you for instigating this reflection, it has been very important for me right now.

I feel like this video was meant for me at this moment. I've been through a lot by trusting people. It's been a long road. Today I'm in between my past and my future and things are looking up but I'm too scared to believe and trust anything or anyone. I found my deck I just wanted to count if all the cards were there I asked the deck give me past present and future. Two cards were facing up I pulled them it was REVERSED ace of pentacles, V of wands and I thought those were the only signs....but when I checked them again I saw a random card that had a bit of dirt on it and took that as the third sign......it was uprightThe World. It may all just be coincidence but dang I hope this is a good message for me soon because I've been running on empty
While you might find it difficult to articulate what becoming whole means, I think you demonstrate it admirably. I doubt one could be such a wise, sincere, and empowering teacher without embodying wholeness. The World's legs are in the same position as the Hanged Man. And interesting that their numbers, 12 and 21, are each others' reversed. The four corners can also represent the four animals mentioned in Revelations, or the four fixed signs of the zodiac. I loved this series, and I can't wait for the court card series! One thing that some might find interesting regarding the position of the character's legs: try putting this card next to the reversed Hanged Man some time.
I don't focus on feeling hopeless though I see my connection to the world as every time I have not moved fully past my issue I have grown more each time and do not see it as failure but a need to try again

Yes, the World doesn't have a"dark side", because the World is God/Universe/Councious Awareness, endless fulfillment.There is no dark side to God, the only creator, love only. I am God:) All the way from The Fool to The World, the truth of who i really am: I AM The Fool seeks outside of himself, The World=Universe/God etc looks only inside(into the only true reality), he/she also knows that there is no separation and that all is God. people on the net interpret these cards differently. I went in tarot recently hesitant and now scratching my head because various teachers on TH-cam have a similar yet different take on the major arcanas. Perplexed for now. May clarity come soon. So it is.
I know and it's confusing. It's the same thing with books - some books will say one thing, another book will say something quite different. Take it all in and go with the meanings and make the most sense to you :) Don't get too hung up on trying to find the one true definition/meaning of a card.

Awareness is key and following one's intuition as well. There's a story why I was led to Taro that involves synchronicity ever since I embraced spirituality but that is a story for another day. people on the net interpret these cards differently. I went in tarot recently hesitant and now scratching my head because various teachers on TH-cam have a similar yet different take on the major arcanas. Perplexed for now. May clarity come soon. So it is.
I know and it's confusing. It's the same thing with books - some books will say one thing, another book will say something quite different. Take it all in and go with the meanings and make the most sense to you :) Don't get too hung up on trying to find the one true definition/meaning of a card.
@@DailyTarotGirl Thank you, teacher. That is exactly what I will b doing as that is what I do with conflicting information not related to Taro as well. Awareness is key and following one's intuition as well. There's a story why I was led to Taro that involves synchronicity ever since I embraced spirituality but that is a story for another day. It wouldn't surprise me if all the positive affirmations and optimism I spread all over the net is having an impact. Thank you for your encouragement.
