To be honest, Brock didn't really seem to have a connection to Geodude like he did with Onix, or even Zubat. It just felt like the only reason he had Geodude in the anime is because he had Geodude in the game

It blinded him from the fight itself, and Brock failed by _not_ giving Geodude good commands. _That_ was the issue, not the type issue per se. See, Brock could've told Geodude to grab the attacking Hitmonlee and give it 2:31 or 2:59. At one point, he was distracted by Rebecca and visually left Geodude to fight--and fall. When he watches later, he doesn't bother to say, "Grab and toss it." Either moment, he could've told Geodude to block a kick--possibly with a toss as well. He also could've told Geodude to dodge an attack and punch Hitmonlee. Geodude wasn't automatically going to lose just because of its type. I actually made a video about this. Speaking of which, I also recommend _Machop VS Geodude Showdown._ They say the two are counterparts to each other, and it's sad they don't get to fight in _The Punchy Pokemon._ Well, this video compensates for it.

Well now Team Rocket use dangerously good pokemon in Journeys so I would say losing to them now would make more sense. Same for in Sun and Moon. Mimikyu was out for blood lol.
IMO, I would rather have Geodude NOT evolve. It is kinda like Ash's Pikachu and Dawn's Piplup in a way, of that of is an example of a Pokémon being strong without an evolution. That and the producers probably had a bad time giving it a personality early on, so a bigger, more strange (and uglier) Graveler would even more difficult.
You should totally do a pikachu one for each generation so that way when a new generation comes out you can just add it to a mini series instead of making 1 big video
I still wished that Brock's Geodude have evolved into Graveler and to Golem during both the Kanto and Johto Arc before it was left at Pewter City Gym before Brock continued his journey with Ash in Hoenn and Sinnoh.

I once dreamed Gladion's Midnight Lycanroc was in the Grand Prix Geodude could partake in. It fought Ash's Primeape with Tackle, Revenge, and Counter. So...let's say hypothetically Gladian brought Lycanroc to Kanto for this tournament. Do you folks think the P1's staff would've let the Rock Pokemon in, like Geodude?
If Geodude was allowed in the tournament for Fighting Pokemon, would Graveler have too? It'd make a good opponent for Machamp There's no TCG in the cartoon, correct? Because by that logic, the Rock-Ground typing didn't make Geodude a "Fighting" Pokemon to enter the ring.
Brock being a master breeder and a rock type trainer would be perfect if he got had ANY fossil pokemon. I really wanted to see a little more screen time for the fossil pokemon too.

Oh, man, read my mind! l revere Geodude and Graveler and question Golem's appearance too. Graveler _absolutely_ looks like Geodude's evolved form, but _nothing_ like Golem's pre-evolved form. Four arms for the middle guy? Two that leave when he evolves? In fact, his remaining arms are short, while Geodude's are long and muscular. And a head? Golem gets a small head (with a body attached), while Geodude and Graveler _are_ heads? That's just weird. To add to my opinion, I like how the muscular Geodude looks like a fighting type and yet isn't one, and I'm interested in how Graveler looks less like one than it's pre-form, and yet does so better than it's future form. I mean, I think of Graveler as a rock version of Machamp. It just needs to get those hands off its torso and use them more. And the designers and game makers really should keep Graveler's upper muscles up, as Geodude does. Golem does not have those muscles anymore. It's just a non-muscly Pokemon in a big, round shell. Looks nothing like a fighting type if you ask me (unless you were to dress it up as a sumo wrestler). What do you think of Geodude and Graveler as "fighting types"?

Probably electromagnetism, similar to Magnemite. It is a sapient rock with arms, having a mineral structure that allows it to float is relatively easy.

He threw in the towel because Geodude was kicking his ass kicked by Hitmonlee. Geodude probably had a everstone that’s why it never evolved.

I think it might be because geodude wasn't touching the floor so he couldn't ground himself to reroute the electricity
