Hi Marcos ! First thank you for Francis day tour info on the . You make me discover another thing to do Subic. I like to drink too but once a year go dry about 30-40 days. I have been doing this for a few years now. Yes, I follow you in Phil.and Thailand as I do visit the same area sometimes, so I know you do not bullshit and I love someone that speak his mind. I also enjoy visiting some area you go that I have never been. I also like you compassion and respect for the local people in countries you visit. Enough positive comments ! Sorry, I can not make negative comments at the moment. From a happy guy I Thailand !
Thank you so much for taking us along, I am a disabled person that would never be able to do that. I felt like I was there😀God bless you and your family.

At 58:13, the other guy said natapilok paa mo, meaning "you tripped your right foot". Looks like he sprained it and a bottle of empty Emperador fixed it right up.
Awesome video..Those were some beautiful ladies on that mountain but not as beautiful as the one waiting for you at the bottom. You have a lovely family Marcos..Blessings..
King marcos, VERY beautiful country side, and mountain views, thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, those young fellows aren't out of shape and you asking them do they want to take a break
I was following three people about the Philippines on You tube until I found your channel. Now I'm following four, and you're officially my favorite and go-to channel to watch. I like the way you handle yourself. You have a great channel, keep up the good work, and thanks for letting me live vicariously, through you!
Great video Bro! I was in Manila last week for 8 days - had to take care of business at the US Embassy, and never made it out of Manila... Had a hell of time and met some great local people. The first two days I was basically in shock at the squalor many of the people live in, but after the 3rd day, I couldn't believe how kind a friendly everyone was regardless of their living conditions - living life the best they can. A lesson most Americans could use - crying about every f*****g petty thing under the sun, and have no idea what a hard life is. I'll definitely be back again soon, and will visit your neck of the woods. 1000 Pesos for such a wonderful experience couldn't be more worth while - shit, I paid 3000 Pesos for the lunch buffet at The Manila Hotel!
When the King got the mountaintop with those ladies, I started hearing those words from that 1970 Eric Burdon song, Spill the Wine: "I stood high upon a mountain top, naked to the world. In front of every kind of girl, there was black ones, big ones, round ones, crazy ones. Out of the middle came a lady. She whispered in my ear, something crazy. She said spill the wine, take that pearl."
I went on a 3 months backpacking trip to the Philippines in 2017 and visited Cantabon Cave in Siquijor Island. The entry to this cave is a 2.5 ft hole sandwiched between 2 huge boulders and hidden behind some bushes. My local female guide and I entered this chamber and after 45 minutes of crawling and climbing, we reached a chamber with white crystalline overhangs and saw 3 girls, 2 Pinay tourists from Manila and their local female guide drinking some red wine. I got offered a shot of this local wine and went our separate ways. 3 weeks later, on my way to Ulan Ulan Falls in Biliran Island with yet another local guide (a 12 years old boy, a son of a farmer), I came across this 2 same Pinays inside a forested slope of this mountain and got offered of yet another shot of some kind of island rum. These encounters turned out to be one of the highlights of that trip.
Hello from Buffalo New York , Thanks for sharing . That's a bigger mountain than the ones I climbed when I was there . Funny that those women are all married to foreigners . I hope to retire next year and live in the Philippines full time . Oh yeah 3 years ago I was a lot more fit working concrete every day then I changed and just did windows and doors . It didn't take long and I was out of shape . At 61 years old it a lot harder to get back in shape .
Awsome!!!! New subscriber. Seriously thinking of retiring there. Was stationed there back in 85. Always wanted to go back. Being single with no children, and retirement coming in a couple years, its weighing on me more, day by day.. Definitely doing my research. Your vlogs help a lot!!
OMGosh, I absolutely Love your videos Marcos. ThankYou for sharing your life with us. Also you have a very Beautiful family. May God continue To Bless You All...
It wasn't 72 virgins, but 4 mountain sylphs with a bottle of wine runs an earthly second. What a nice surprise and adventure. Great narration as well. Thanks you, Marcos - King of the Mountain.
wazoo survival belt, aqua tabs, water bag, coffee filter, fishing kit, fire starter, coradage, first aid band aids and alcohol wipes, small knife, flashlight, tinder quicks, fire steel, I have all that in my belt and you don't even notice it's there, highly recommend it
Hello Marcos.. from victorville ca I'm a hiker.. and a carpenter. I push myself at work physically so on the weekends I can run the trails. I ran up the Coron hill with the sign in palawan. Maybe 900 steps.? I did walked down for safety But I have to say, Everest is no joke. You have to be in the top 1% in physical condition. That looks like maybe 4 miles @ maybe 2000ft elevation change. Should take a little over a hour.
Your buddy sprained his ligaments from using "flip flops" because with those sandals he is only using his big toe mostly to walk, I found out the hard way also it lasted 2 months to recover first one foot and then the other also was sprained the ligament from the toes to the ankle. I threw all my flip flops away and now only use sandals with straps in the front and the back of the ankle so you use the whole foot to lift your leg as you walk instead of only using your big toe. I hope you can buy him a pair of sneakers and pair of sandals, and pass this tip along to him and his family. Those flip flops are only good to get out of the shower with not to use all day which is my case cause i am retired and stay home mostly. I cannot imagine climbing a mountain on flip flops that is no way a good idea. God bless you and this was one of your best videos ever, Bourdain got nothing on you man!!
You mean the day just got a lot better. You better get up there quickly I think they need help. Leave it to you to find four beautiful Filipinas on top of the Filipino mt Everest. Beautiful view thanks brother 😎
Found this old adventure of yours Mark nerve racking but its really amazing very proud of you to climb up on that mountain very impressive. Thanks for sharing.
Always worse getting down than climbing. Maybe your best video yet! Love the guides wearing flip flops.. and to find lovely ladies on the top of a mountain - only in the Philippines.
I used to hump the jungle on Cubic Base in '89 -'91. I can relate to the climate changes of the canopy covered jungle and the elephant grass. I hated the grassy openings, the heat became oven hot.
There’s some great hiking spots around Dumaguete. Later in the year Iam going to Nepal, real mountains there! Man you have to go at the right time of year, you can’t go anywhere if the weather breaks. So cool when you ran into those girls👍
You climbed the mountain and you found Jesus and he had 4 ladies for you with wine, you can't make that shit up my friend you sure on the right track for some higher calling, hee he. Your wife didn't believe you cause that's just too good to be true, oh man so funny, great family...
I would love to do some hiking with you Marcos. Hopefully when all this crazy virus days are over. Hope to be back staying at the Trose next January 2021.
Great to watch you humping this steep mountain, tough climb for the laborers helping the ex resident prepare for construction. 4 young Filipinas at the top, sweet reward. Insects sure were not a welcome presence. Keep up the great adventure sharing M. Kudos to your trek assistants. Take good care of each other.
So funny to see the boost in Marco's energy level once he thought the woman were nude!
There are some weird and wonderful TH-cam bloggers out there but you are up there with the best of em
