- 🇻🇳 Since you guys enjoyed our last northern trip so much, @Macoi24 and I have planned another one! We will be going to the northwest of Vietnam, specifically, Lao Cai and some surrounding places, to film videos of the food, people, culture, language, and especially, Vietnam's jungle border with China. And there is no better way to explore Vietnam than by motorbike. When riding motorbikes, the majority of Vietnamese use something called "áo chông nắng," which is basically a jacket that blocks sun rays. We went on a search for the perfect one, but ended up finding something quite local.

Nếu chị không hiểu tiếng anh thì đập nhẹ lên màn hình thì trên góc phái màn hình hiện lên chữ cc chị bấm váo sẽ có phiên dịch tiếng Việt .

This is so hilarious Chris and Max! You made a good show out of your short trip to the market to buy a jacket. It's funny, cool and down to earth seeing you guys in the grab jackets. Genuine happiness when you found it practical and comfortable. It works great and I am happy for a great team uniform as you travel up the north area. Take care and DRIVE SAFE guys that is the most important thing too!!!

It’s so damn impressive and rare for a foreigner to be able to speak Vietnamese that well in only 3 years. It shows a lot of intelligence, dedication, and willingness to learn. He speaks so quick & fluently. Tone is easy to understand and not awkward like Phuc Map. 😆Well done, Chris. Respect ✊

Couldnt speak a speckle of French even after learning it in school for about 4 years lol
If I'm not wrong, I think it's because Vietnamese is very similar to Chinese and he's been learning Chinese for about 12 years. So that makes it a lot easier than learning a completely new language.

My friend Max Carver (American living in China and your friends' friends) just recommended you guys to me yesterday. I have been on a marathon, basically watching your videos non-stop on my round trip Dallas-Austin. It is so cool to see the rapport between the two of you, the sweet and talkative Chris and the quiet with some cold jokes Max, but because I am Vietnamese from Hanoi, I am particularly in love with your Vietnamese language speaking and culture embracing. Today I got so disappointed to find out you have moved on to Pakistan and India. But at the same time, I am so at awe to see two more languages being added to your list, each, to the perfect level of each accent. What a language genius!
And Max is very handsome, kinda like the young Brad Pitt from Texas, lol. One of you is so good at filming daily conversation and the other, at picturesque food videos/ photos.
