this is the first video ive ever watched from you and i honestly love everything about you :)) i love how youre just very truthful, and you have a very sweet yet chill vibe about you. you kind of remind me of myself and you honestly somehow just gave me the motivation to take a shower for the first time in a couple of days. youre more self aware and dont mind showing that not everyone lives perfectly. so thank you for this video
Hi 😳 You're very kind. Your comment means a lot to me, I'm glad I was able to keep you company ❤ You're doing just fine and I hope you love yourself today
I'm just finishing a granny square cardigan. My first one. I slip stitched the squares together as you did with your squares. To soften the seams so that they won't be annoying I pinned and blocked the seamed together squares and steamed them and let it dry. The steam really flattened and softened them. I have trouble with my hands and I could not crochet at all without Furls hooks. They are amazing. Ergonomic and gorgeous! I can crochet as long as I want to with no pain. I highly recommend them. They will save your hands and delight your senses. ❤🍋
When kitty came on screen one of my cats started watching your video 😆 he is so interested in your crocheting as well because I'm also sitting here crocheting and letting him play with some of it as I go. ❤🍋
Crocheting along with you! Working on a crochet patchwork cardigan for my girlfriend for our 2 month anniversary. I'm using the same pattern as you for the cardigan too omg
this video was great ~ i love how you made it like 40 min, i could crochet aalong w/ you. i’m working on the same kind of cardigan @-@ sometimes it feels like i’ll never finish but i’ll keep doing it
Loved this video!!! Was also crocheting along, I am making a two sided blanket with solid granny squares!! I havent really decided on the theme too much but i think i may either do Fire and Ice/water? Or have the emotion, the red/yellow/orange could be upset and then the other side could be joyful colors? Or i may do sunrise and sunset theme!! Its also all gingham!!
That's such a cool idea! As someone who often needs their space and has trouble communicating, the emotion one would be pretty useful. Like red side up means "don't talk to me I'm recharging" and the green side up means "safe to approach" lol. I'd love to see how it turns out!
first video i've ever watched from you, and it kind of felt like being on facetime with a friend lol, i crocheted a self-drafted landscape sweater with a little cow on it while watching 😊
I’ve been crocheting a teddy bear for a commission and I’ve lowkey been bingeing your videos because they help me stay motivated to keep working! Keep up the great work :)🍋🌸
Yes! The thing about doing the side pieces together! That annoys me so much too! I'm working on a patchwork sweater as well and I'm doing a contrast stitch, which was the worst decision ever bc the side stitches get so janky!! So what I'm doing is crocheting on a border on the sides so the stitches will (hopefully) be more even🤞🤞 But it's a ton of extra work and so many more ends to sew in😭 I'm probably gonna stay away from patchwork for a while after I finish that hahah...
Oooo a border is such a great idea! I'll have to try that next time (if I ever do patchwork again). Good luck with yours, I'm sure it will look amazing!
Hello🍋 it was interesting to watch the discipline it took to crochet for 24 hours. I only wish I could be as productive with a crochet hook. I am one of those “some day dreamers” who still has not mastered art. SOME DAY lol. Loved the video. Relaxing to watch!
If you haven’t gotten any good hooks yet, I like to take crayola model magic and wrap it around the base of my hooks, you can make it as thick as you like and it works just like ergonomic hooks!
ik this video is a bit older but i totally recommend clover amour hooks!!! they sell them in a pack or separate, they are ergonomic and havw a handle, but have a long throat on it so you have a bunch of room for stitches. they are a game changer!!
I’ve heard hobbii, we crochet is great, and I’ve heard wool warehouse is a good one too. Oh I’ve ordered from Jimmy Beans Wool they have beautiful yarns too.
I love Knit Picks/We Crochet for online yarn shopping. Unfortunately you just missed their big sale of the yarn. Bur still great quality and affordable prices.
This is my first time watching you and I didn’t even realize how long the vid was 🍋 because I’ve been trying to crochet my first jellyfish 😂. I enjoyed watching tho
So I have thoughts for the sides of the squares... I’d crochet however many stitches you’d need for a starting chain. So I tend to do one in the side of single and half double crochets, two in the sides of double crochets, and three in the sides of trebles. It’s worked pretty well for me for the most part. If you try it let me know how it goes! 🍋🍋
@@hobbymoth hey I know I'm a little late, but maybe instead of crocheting the squares starting with a foundation chain and crocheting row on top of row, you could try and make solid granny squares, so you have neat stitches on all sides. I also find it stressful to sew along the raw edges lol
Hey, this is the first video I’ve watched from you and I love your vibe. I was just wondering if you have the pattern available for the the cat bed, if not that’s ok I understand but I was just wondering.
I don't have a pattern unfortunately, but all I really did was make a big circle then when I wanted to make the lip I just did a few rows without increasing and folded it over! I found this free pattern for you that's pretty similar to what I did: yarnandchai.com/tabby-chic-cat-bed/
Glad I've found a queer neurodivergent TH-camr! It feels like your channel is creating a safespace for people like me (I'm an autistic lesbian) and it's much appreciated

I really need to try blocking! And I need to get some ergonomic hooks, thanks for the reccomendation
I always order yarn from Joann, and it is the best, most stress-free way to get yarn. I never even go to the store anymore.
When kitty came on screen one of my cats started watching your video 😆 he is so interested in your crocheting as well because I'm also sitting here crocheting and letting him play with some of it as I go. ❤🍋
Omg they are friends now! My cats just try to eat the yarn so I have to be careful lol
The way you sewed the cardigan would make a super cute quilt batted afghan
Oooo you're right!
Love it when youtubers are soo patient with there animals 😍 ❤
Patience is key!! They're just little dudes who don't know right from wrong

Omg same, I’m making a sweater and it’s taking so longgg 😫
This video is so great! You should definitely do a video where you crochet for 24 hours in one day !
I want to soon!! It's so hard to carve out 24 consecutive hours but I may try this spring 😁

i love lovecrafts! the mesh bags are so useful - i always use them as little project bags and then they're perfect to put gifts in too
Good idea!
I can tell you Hobbii is great! They also do bingo and you get chances to win yarn and other things!
Oooo I'll check them out!

I have definitely not mastered anything! It helped to spread it out over a few days and to have some good entertainment going
ooo long video to actually crochet to without getting distracted by changing video!!
😁

:0 that's such a good idea
I just got a starter kit off Amazon that's in a cute case but the hooks are so nice that's in it surprisingly imo
Thank you for helping me focus while I crochet!! I think I've never crocheted for this long :D
Happy to help! You can do it!
I think the cotton bucket hat turned out really nice. I wasn't crocheting while watching, but I was knitting a pair of ankle socks, so close enough! 🍋
Thanks! I admire you for knitting, I can never get it down

Sis! Six minutes in BEFORE you began crocheting? That’s disrespectful. Wow.
