How to make Silicone Beeswax Mold / DIY
Creating a silicone beeswax mold involves a few key steps. Here’s a guide to help you make your own:
Materials Needed:
-Silicone Mold Making Kit: This usually includes silicone rubber and a catalyst or hardener. You can find these kits at craft stores or online.
-Beeswax: For the actual mold or to test the mold once it’s made.
-A Model: This could be an object or a shape you want to mold.
-Mixing Containers and Stirring Sticks: For mixing the silicone.
-Release Agent (optional): Helps in demolding.
-A Small Brush or Sponge: For applying the release agent, if used.
-Container or Box: To hold the silicone while it cures, ideally slightly larger than your model.
-Scissors or Craft Knife: For trimming the mold if necessary.

Parabéns pelo vídeo. Vou fazer uma explanação sobre o uso destes moldes pelo pequeno apicultor pq eles tem que valorizar e muito a produção da sua própia cera (ou da colmeia resgatada) e usa-lá. Esta cera além de sair bem mais em conta, sempre será melhor aceita que outras de fora com feromônios de abelhas estranhas. Isso facilmente se prova quando em um resgate se aproveita todo resto de favos para fazer cera alveolada e usar no mesmo exame. Tanto a aceitação como o desenvolvimento da colmeia é impressionante. Como faço poucas laminas uso o molde de silicone (comprei no mercado Livre) para fazer as minhas ceras alveoladas. Primeiro faço as lâminas e com elas pronta, mergulho na água bem morna com detegente de coco, coloco no molde, passo um rolo de pastel emcima,
em seguida mergulho em uma vazia com agua gelada e a lâmina sai perfeita.

good job, the 2 things I got from your video was to make the silicone solid and the screws for depth adjustment. the others I have seen you pour in the wax and their is no way to get a consistent depth. I am going to borrow your design.
