My Dad was from Country Donegal, Ireland and played this often as my sisters and I danced to it.He played it much faster than this couple. Loved hearing it, reminds me of my Dad, thank you
I've never played the melodeon but I've sat next to and accompanied many that have attempted this tune and this has to be the best example that I have ever heard. Je n'ai jamais joué le mélodéon, mais je me suis assis à côté et accompagnés de nombreux qui ont tenté cette mélodie particulière et c'est la meilleure interprétation que j'ai entendue.

"The Harvest Home" is a N. E. English Hornpipe as is the celebration of the "High Level" bridge near Newcastle and many, many others. We share a great deal with Scotland and England.
Nul n'est prophète dans son pays, a dit Jésus. On dirait que les gens n'aiment que les artistes étrangers. Un grand nombre de chanteurs Québécois n'aurait pas eu leur chance s'ils ne s'étaient fait connaitre en France avant. Gilles devrait peut-être venir se faire connaître au Québec
