- We found our Favorite FREE Campsite while living in our van on the 5th night of our east coast road trip. This spot is absolutely incredible. We were blessed with glassy conditions and an amazing sunrise it was so peaceful. After there, we headed south towards Virginia Beach and ending up in North Carolina.

I prefer bush areas but have been doing the east coast of Australia lately. Waking up on the water is great
When you find places like that you set up camp for two weeks or longer. I'd probably stay until the ranger told me to leave.

This works out great for me ! I’m heading out of Jersey on Monday on my way to Lauderdale by the Sea Florida . It gives me some great ideas for some stops. Keep up the videos.

Virginia beach was the nicest, clean beach/coast we van camped in in 2021.

Absolutely do a pinpoint map with all the places you guys go. Even if people will not repeat it 100% it is still nice to know verified places to camp/see

Doing our first Van Trip to Virginia next month, and our mission for atleast 1 day is to be able to park near the water , be able to open the back doors and gaze out at the water. Slowly learning that this is seeming to be quite the challenge, however the spot you found in this video is absolutely amazing and pretty much on what we have in mind. Any chance would you be able to share that location ??

That little parking spot found on a foggy night was epic! Looked like a little map of Cape Cod in the drone shot! As for the idea of a map of where you stayed.... you may then be giving out locations of hidden jewels. I like hidden jewels. Maybe let the Google satellite mode be the advice, and let the hidden jewels hunters get the spoils. I mean, there are plenty of camping apps.... your descriptions and videos give enough away without, well, giving a spot like that away! 🙂🌊

Was the Gold Beach a "stealth" overnight or is parking overnight there officially sanctioned?
stealth, it's a fishing spot so I assume if it gets over-run with overlanders there will be no overnight camping signs. Hopefully, it doesn't!!!!

Man, im an avid spot hunter. And for the life of me, with the clues you gave about this little spot in the beggining of the video. Im not able to find it. Any other tips you may say of this spot without totally revealing it?
Actually I found it. It took me a bit. but great find. I saw the reviews on google about the horseflies in the area. Did you guys experience that? It says to bring lots of bug spray...
