I can remember when this service was hauled by double-headed Class 33s, then ARC 59s and Construction 56s. Also the New Hythe paper mill trip. Hoo Jtn is also unfortunately a shadow of its former self. Thanks for the memories.

    6V18 if I’m not mistaken.
If this video was taken 4 months ago, once you pass CXA575 on the Up Maidstone, you then come under EKSC ( East Kent Signalling Centre ) Rochester workstation until you get to Higham. Then North Kent 2 take over.
    CX101 is Cuxton’s 1st signal.

Don't know if the Rugby Cement sidings are in use, though they certainly looked well maintained, but I don't think I ever put a train in there when working Cuxton box.

Concrete sleepers are fabricated on site at Halling then taken out by rail, don't know how frequent the service is though. Last cement trains in there were in the late 80's early 90's.

Traffic was infrequent back in the 80s as well.

Thanks for the video. There appears to be an issue with frames being skipped.

Do you know which part it is. It’s probably when it was uploaded to TH-cam.

This would have been the 11:20 or 11:24 departure. I didn't make a note of which day but usually runs Monday to Friday

I didn’t record which loco it was when filming but looking back it sounds more like a 59
