Eagles pass rusher Nolan Smith told reporters yesterday that he is expecting huge things from DT Jalen Carter heading into his second season with the Birds. Carter dominated early on in his rookie career, however, the second half of 2023 featured a quiet few games for the former UGA Bulldog. Now, with a new defensive coordinator in Vic Fangio and new pass rushers around him. Just how good can Carter be in 2024? The fact that the Cowboys barely won the NFC East despite the Eagles practically handing the division to them shows how much better the Eagles are
Dallas has gone 12-5 the last 3 years, let’s not act like they are a slouch of a team.

Him and Isaiah Rodgers have great personalities. We are blessed with a bunch of great guys!
My biggest concerns are the coach Nick Scrinni, the line backer's, I have no concerns about Jalen Hurts, are his Offensive coach they will find a way to get Jalen Hurts use to 39 to 40 percent of the new offense. It will again with Jalen Hurts learning a new scheme and it might have a few plays for him to run and option calls. When you try to win and get yards you need everything on the table for it to run correctly. Just get the Bull chit away from the team. And with all this talent, we might get to the Superbowl this year. I know it's just a thought right now but I can imagine it happening. Fly Eagles fly.

What worries me the most is not any of their abilities or any one position, but their mental stability. How are they going to handle everything and are they ready to move passed what happened last season. This team is loaded with skill and talent, but how skilled and talented are they on the mental front.
The two veteran coordinators should help with that, esp. the D under Vic. 💪🦅

The Eagles barely beat the old, sorry version of last year's Commanders. The new Commanders will sweep them this year. Their collapse at the end of the year was LEGENDARY!

My biggest concern this season is the Eagles media. I get that they need clicks, but their toxicity really affected the morale of the team last season.

If you mean, by 'Carson-Wentzing' that the Eagles maintain a competent backup with some upside, ok. If you're insinuating the Eagles did Carson dirty somehow though, having watched those seasons, NOTHING could infuriate me more. Wentz should've killed the Eagles for several years. I think what they're trying to say is that Kenny Pickett is Jalen Hurts. And no, he's not. But he still can grow, as can McKee. But Jalen's 'standard' is way above Pickett's.

Cowboys have lost TREMENDOUS talent this off-season with no REAL replacements and the whole team is in shambles. Washington had a great draft and FA signings and definitely will be better than they were last year, Giants lost Barkley but they did make some good moves in the Draft & FA signings. Eagles have dominated the draft & FA signings, amazing chemistry in the locker room happening and the coaches we now have compared to last year are LEAPS & BOUNDS better.
I'm genuinely confident that the Cowboys have a chance to be last this season. Albeit they have a chance I'd still say it'll go like this:
1.) EAGLES
2.) REDSKINS
3.) COWBOYS
4.) GIANTS
(I just don't think the Giants made good enough offensive moves to compete with an already good cowboys team, I'm confident in the redskins new QB and they have the receivers and defense to compete. A new HC is gonna be a big plus for them too. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we split the series. But anyway...that's just my opinion.)

I feel like people are still sleeping on the birds nationally. All I hear about is the collapse how Hurts has fallen off…no one mentions the significance of the new Coordinators though. I haven’t been this excited for a new season in a long time!
Biggest issue isn’t the players or coaches- that got damn near all the right ppl n the right positions. The question is with all the talent can they lock in and connect? They do that looking at a number 1 offense and top 3 defense
As much as I see improvement in the Commanders and a weak offseason from the cowboys I think the division goes:

2. Cowboys (9-8ish)
3. Commanders (7-10ish)

You know I’d be a little more worried about LB but we have a secondary now that can back them up and a really good D line coach that will get our elite pass rushers back to form. All that takes burden off the LB Corp, and that LB Corp might not be elite but they should be able to get the job done. I’m excited for this season and want to see the guys take one home again!

Hey Thomas odd question but how interesting or realistic would a move like signing Jamal Adams to the roster and having him play an inside linebacker spot considering through all the years he’s played strong safety. He’s basically played a linebacker position. He is decent in coverage and a good tackler, and he was linked to Philly two years ago before signing with Seattle, would love to hear your thoughts on that let me know. Thanks go birds.🦅
NFC East is gonna be Eagles (13-4), Dallas (10-7), Commander (10-7), Giants (5-12), I think commanders and cowboys is gonna have a tie but cowboys win the tie breaker

For me it’s a couple things. LB obviously, no depth. But O Line is also one. With Hurts learning a new offense is Cam gonna start making the slide adjustments like Kelce or will Hurts have to take on that as well? Third, can we get to the QB, and can we finish the tackle. 🤔
