Hello! Super apologies for this late response. Toyota has proven its reliability for many years. While the Santa Fe is undeniably smoother and faster than the Fortuner, there is no way for Santa Fe to beat Fortuner in general. Just my 2 cents!
@clkdragzta honestly, for me it's underpowered (if compared to Montero Sport) unless you get the 3.0V 4x4. 2012 fortuner improved their ride comfort but some source/s informed me the release of 2013 model which is more than a "face-lifted" ..so better wait

Ride quality, yes. But fortuner has a highee ground clearance which is better for in case of a flood
