  • I take to the lanes with the latest release in the Storm line, the Summit (symmetrical hybrid) and compare it to the Roto-Grip Gem (asymmetrical solid) and the Storm DNA (asymmetrical solid)
    Specifications for my equipment include...
    Summit (box finish) - 4-3/4 x 4 x 2
    Gem (box finish) - 4 x 4 x 3-3/4
    DNA (box finish + lane shine) - 5 x 4-1/2 x 1-1/2

    Hey Scott. Saw you on Charles's channel and I dig your release. Got any videos of your footwork and hand release? As a 4th season rookie bowler, I had little idea what to buy, so after asking around I ended up with P2, P5, and BW hybrid 2.0. Can you recommend a Storm ball similar to the BW that's a bit less flippy but just as continuous? I hope the question makes sense. Thanks.

      @@Mityob67 the Sublime would be a great choice for a smoother hybrid shape like the 2.0! The Road or TNT Infused are other great options. But Sublime for sure seems the best fit.

    New subscriber. Saw u on the Hype. I checked out ur videos and love the content. I’m trying to figure out my league arsenal for coming fall season. I have Gem,Dna, Exotic Gem, Infinite Physix, Summit, Phase II, Zen, IQ Tour Solid, Fate, Night Road, Hyroad, IQ Tour Ruby, and Hyped Pearl

      Plastic always first! I’d go IQ Tour/Infinite Physix in the main bag with plastic. Then Summit/Ruby/Phaze II as your alternate bag. We have a lot of difference in houses down in South Florida so having that alternate league bag is always important.

    Is that storm red tape on the inside of your thumb from callus issues?

      Yes sir! From when I was younger and used to squeeze the ball. It helps smooth out the nub.

    How does this ball compare to the Storm Fate

    • @ScottAndersonBowling
      @ScottAndersonBowling  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Completely different! The Fate is much later and more angular. The Summit is sooner, smoother and overall stronger.

    Is the summit pin down layout?

    • @ScottAndersonBowling
      @ScottAndersonBowling  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Summit is pin up. The layout numbers are in the description.

      Why you didn’t preferred to drill it pin down? And would you ?

    • @ScottAndersonBowling
      @ScottAndersonBowling  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ilzour1 I have a Gem pin down already and the Summit is going to be my transition ball after the Gem. I needed a tad more flare and length.

    Would you consider the summit as a main transition ball?

    • @ScottAndersonBowling
      @ScottAndersonBowling  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I prefer to use my Summit on the fresh because it affords me room to go up or down a ball. I can go with something sooner or something cleaner and later. I like having options.

    Trying to build a 4 ball league and a 6 ball tourney bag. I have the Eternity, Zen, Fate, IQ Ruby.

    • @ScottAndersonBowling
      @ScottAndersonBowling  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sounds like a whole bunch of Pearl balls! You definitely need some variance and you have a lot of room for it. The Summit is a great choice for a hybrid. As for solids, check out the Gem, Reality or new Eternity Pi on the higher end, and the Exponent for a lower-medium solid.

      @scottandersonbowling9183 Thank you for the knowledge, I was looking at the Tour Dynam-X for a lower-mid ball. Would that be a good compliment?
