Fantastic video. I had never heard of needle felting. It's just amazing. About how many hours did you take to make the squirrel? I love acorns and teapots too!
Laying here after mouth / dental surgery with ice packs and your videos are the only thing I feel like watching. They bring me so much joy. HA I had pureed squash soup for supper.
I can't tell you what delight I felt in my heart looking at those colors all next to each other along your fence. What a pleasure you will have creating with those wools.
Dear Jeri, I look at and admire your videos as if I had eyes of different ages: the eyes of a little girl for story books and your wonderful illustrations, the eyes of a mother for delicious recipes, those of a curious young woman for your crafts. , those of an adult woman, that I am, to explore your gardens and your beautiful old objects. Thanks for so much beauty and so much harmony! Blessings and Big Hug from Argentina.

Thank you, Jeri, for sharing with us today. I always look forward to your videos. I am 80 years old, and somehow you bring out the young girl in me.....with memories of my own childhood...with a little pretending and exploring nature...and God's beautiful creation. You are an inspiration. 💕
Oh dear Jeri, Sometime ago I asked you to consider doing a tutorial on your felting, thank you so much for sharing your process. It almost looks like it could be meditative. It's beyond my capabilities, but I so enjoyed watching you dye your wool and sculpt with it. Your videos are so calming amidst the turmoil in our present world. I imagine sharing a delicious cup of tea and a sweet treat virtually with you. Thank you again.
I have been a Beatrix Potter and Tasha Tudor fan for many years. My house is full of their books and the Beatrix Potter figurines and dishes. But I am so glad I have found you and your videos. It's wonderful to have a current, living, kindred spirit. Your animals are delightful and your teas are so charming and inviting!
Oh, what a Delight! I've seen a fair amount of needle felted art, but never saw it being created. Thanks, Jeri! (Btw, I Love that the dolls and felted critters get tea!)

Loved the ode to the tiny acorn! The oak trees in our front yard have been dropping loads this year, and the squirrels have been very busy. Another acorn fan here, I have them in little wooden bowls, I've used the caps for fairy dishes in my garden, I've made a quilt with acorn designs, I've wood burned them on wood and onto gourds, I've painted the in oils, along with their fluffy hunters, I have a pair of plate racks in my kitchen with metal oak leaves and 3-D amber acorns, I have acorn boxes, acorn bells and Christmas ornaments, I even planted one and started a bonsai for my daughter.(Did I mention I'm a fan too? lol) Love the acorn door knocker and all the other acorn creations! Felted acorns are something I've had on my crafting to do list a long time, maybe this will be the year. I know the native Americans made flour from them, I don't recall the process. When the light is good here I'll share a photo on IG. Thank you for sharing this lovely acorn story, have a great day!
I too rescued a baby squirrel who had fallen from it's nest. I like to think she still comes to visit me. I so appreciate all the work you put into developing your videos. This one is certainly a treasure. Blessings to you and all your little animal friends.

Hi Jeri! I’ve enjoyed this video so very much, I’m in awe of your talent and love watching you create. I was needing a Jeri fix so I’ve been searching out videos that I might have missed and this one did not disappoint. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos and know that they are loved and so appreciated. 🐿🌿❤️
Thank you so much for this video, Jeri!! It just warmed my heart and filled a hole that only your voice and vision can. I can't tell you how much I look forward to each and every one you do. Love to you♥️♥️♥️
Jeri, You spoiled us today! Wool dyeing, needlefelt demonstration, poetry, cookies, tea, and a peak at your georgeous book. I don't know how you will top this. I love acorns and the squirrel is too precious for words.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow I haven't thought of this in decades. I have the sweetest memory looking through a book about handmade dolls. The cornhusk doll caught my eye and I asked my mother to make me one. She did. I must have been 5 or 6. I will be anxiously awaiting your doll video and remembering my mom who now resides in heaven.
Love your felted squirrel, the adorable little hat, and basket of felted acorns! I couldn't sleep, so I got up and watched three of your cool, mesmerizing, relaxing videos in the middle of the night~ Thank you for offering these videos for insomniacs like me!
You, Jeri Landers are without a doubt one (in my mind) of the most respected and admired citizens of this great big globe. Without ever meeting you, and to my dismay might never do, I hope when my time comes, to go to a realm where souls meet, I should find you there, or be a part of the welcoming group when your time comes. Much respect, honor, and immense admiration I send your way.
Hello Jeri I just found your precious YT channel a couple of days ago and I just love everything. I also had a pet squirrel when I was a pre teen. I named him Squeaky and love him so much. I have always loved wild animals and helped raise raccoon & deer. Today at 54 my husband and I have 2 chihuahuas we love and some of our dearest friends are in their 80s. We appreciate the simple things. I told my husband how much I love everything you do and told him "when I grow up I want to be more like you".❤ You seem to be such a kind Christian lady who loves GOD'S wonderful creations. I love your house, gardens your love to enjoy all these things and just making the most of life. When my husband retires he wants to move to TN. If you ever decided to open your garden or home for tea parties or volunteers to help in your garden or to admire your sweet fur & feathered babies I would surely love the pleasure. GOD bless & keep you and you🐀🐤🐿🐇🦆🪿🦋🐞🌹🌷🌻🥀🌿🪺🍁
One of my best friends is 20 years older than me, at 90yrs old. Common interests draw people together; a love for nature, animals, God, beautifully crafted items and interesting old things... to name just a few. I used to have an open garden day every year, but our younger dogs have not learned to be polite to strangers yet, and so we will have to hold off on garden visitors for awhile longer.
What a True Inspiration you are....Artist, gardener, chef, creativity abounds... ....everything you do comes from your heart....so wonderful....Thank YOU!
Such a wonderful, multi talented lady with the most beautiful mind & tender, loving heart. Thank you, Jeri for all you do & sharing your wonderful crafts. 😊🐀🐁🐭🐰🐿️🐇🐔🦃🐦🐧🦆🦢🥥🥜🥔🥥🌰
Everything in your video is so gorgeous and the squirrel theme was intriguing for me as we don't have squirrels here in NZ. How I love your book illustrations, truly a work of art and I'd imagine alot of time and patience goes into the needlefelting. We have quite alot of bespoke craftsmen/women here as there are strong ties with the land. Am looking forward to seeing more of your talents!
Love the acorn theme video today. The colours of the wool were amazing and all done with natural dyes which is how it should be. The needle felting was very interesting.
When I was a kid in the 50's, (and my family were Italian), I pretended I was making wine with water and poke berries. I was warned not to eat the berries as they were poisonous. We also had mulberry trees so I added milk to my cup of mulberries and made pretty purple milk. I so much enjoy seeing your donkeys--such beautiful souls. Thank you again, Jeri.
How funny, you were a little Italian winemaker! I was told only the little black seed is poisonous...but who wants to pull out hundreds of seeds from tiny berries?!!
Jeri - I adore the real Hopalong Hollow and your videos so very much! I just had to order this book. For me....a 53 year old woman. The countryside and animals have always been my great loves too and I’m just learning to garden. I love being able to visit Hopalong Hollow and learn so much about gardening, tea, and antiques. Thank you for sharing your world and art!
I'm happy to pass on whatever I can . I will always consider myself an amateur gardener, we can all learn from each other. Thank you for your book order!
Love your "Ode to the Acorn." My husband has a business called Acorn Archery, and your ode to the acorn was as good as any. Your talent in all you do is amazing.
Jeri, You have such a lovely beautiful way of presenting your videos. You remind me of Tasha Tudor in so many ways. I too love the same beautiful things that you do. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. I’m getting so many ideas for my tiny cottage. Much love.
Ahhh, just beautiful! I'll never look at an acorn the same. We had a powerful wind storm early this week. Never thought about the little creatures that might have lost their homes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I learn something everytime I watch you.

I love the world you live in .your books are absolutely amazing and the felt cretchers are so fill of personality you have my admiration and love of what you do
Have seen a blue squirrel for the first time didn't know it was even a thing the iron dye wool reminded me of those little squirrel so beautiful love all you share thank you 💞
I love everything. When you said someone sent you this door knocker. I had been thinking of Bev. I just watched her video. Her new cottage is so much fun. I came across you, I will call it a story. Because the way you do all of your creations. You tell a story. So delightful on an evening full of fighting and awful things going on out there. That wool dye and making that squirrel was magical. It is a good thing that we all have different talents. I think they are God given. No matter what we do to create something we love. , My granddaughters were using my flowers this summer to make a dye. I never really thought about it before. Thank you Joyce
Oh, it's a different Bev. I love that your granddaughters were making dye with the flowers, probably Marigolds and Calendula, I'm going to do that next year, great oranges and yellows.
I love everything you do and show us but my absolute favorite part of your videos is when you do tea time. I could binge watch all the tea portions of your videos and never grow tired of them. The pottery, teas, baked goods, florals, stories, and your precious felt friends and their little teacups. I hope you continue this tradition! Much love to you! ❤️
What a wonderful delight you bring to your videos . All that goes into the process of dying and felting but what beauty - Just love the blue fleece . Your cookies. Oh My !!! Thank you for sharing
Finding satisfaction in doing simple things will make life less bleak; make a batch of beautiful cookies or bake bread, read a great book, learn needlework or plant some flower bulbs in a pot. I am glad you are enjoying the videos!
Who needs Barrett when Your Ode to an Acorn was such a delight! A friend gave me your name and I am so honored and thrilled to watch and learn from your incredible handiwork. Blown away by your talent and charming humbleness. New Admirer!
I love your ode!! Recited with feeling! Thank you Jeri!! OH! And those wools! They are gorgeous! No one would believe what beautiful colors can be obtained from the woodlands. Just lovely!
I just adore your critters that you make. Such fine detail and talent. What I especially love about them is when I see them they take me back to my childhood because they are so real looking and I love the clothes you make for them as well. So adorable!
They take me back to my childhood each time I create a new one, dressing them is so much fun and I sometimes use vintage doll dresses dating from the 1920's -1940's from my collection
So homely and cosy 💜 your channel is like coming in from the cold sitting by the fire and sharing a story a cuppa and warming hot soup. Thank you Jeri xxx

Jeri, I can’t begin to describe my delight at finding your throughly delightful channel. I love absolutely everything about it. I’m spellbound by your multitalented artistry. I find myself wanting to join you while gathering your treasures outdoors and then smelling your gingerbread cookies while they bake but most of all to join you for a cup of tea and your delicious looking soup. I can’t wait to watch the next video. 🐿🐿🐿🐿
Jeri, I enjoyed every part of this video tutorial! Gathering berries & nuts. Dying wool, felting. An exquisitel gingerbread cookie recepie. A delicious & delightful tea time. And a wonderfully illustrated story time. Thank you Jeri! It was a joy!
Wow! That was a sweet time full of my favorites!! That soup looks so scrumptious! And anything needle-felting is a treat for me, but---squirrels and acorns---loved it!! And the poem was perfection! Thanks for all of the work you put into making a relaxing spot in my day.

Thank you for making such wonderful videos. I hope you know what a sense of peace and happiness they give your viewers 🥰
I'm delighted to learn that!
What a wonderful creative soul you are. And all of your work speaks to me of your love and great tenderness with the world. 🙏
I will continue with the tea time, it's the most fun to do after editing all the rest of the video clips!
Thank you very much friend! Your way of living is very inspiring
Bravo Jeri. Bravo.

Happiness is finding A new video from you💓 Thank you so much for sharing your skill for needle felting. Your projects are beautiful.
