Even grass grew in the first Sims, I'm swooning! How ahead of its time that game was!

I haven't played this game in 20 or so years, yet the individual textures, wall papers and furnishings are just ETCHED into my brain.
I love all of your let's furnish Sims 1 videos, but this one really is something else, you're so creative, I can't wait to see more of your own ideas 🥰

That looks very cool! There are some smaller castles, and definitely big ones. They can be all different sizes, the main thing is that they are a fortress and a residence.
I've played the sims medieval and I love it! It is different than the other games with the quest aspect but you have multiple days to complete each quest task, so if you want to stay with a sim for a while, you can drag it out too.

Oh the quest aspect sounds pretty cool? I love doing the opportunities/quests in Sims 3, particularly the world adventures pack. I'll have to try it out at some point 😄

i love this build!! the chapel was such a cute addition. this does make me really wish that sims 4 castle kit included some kind of medival addon or maybe its own game.

This is awesome, you did such a great job even having to wrangle with the limitations of the sims 1! Highly recommend trying out the sims medieval for everyone - it IS different but still fun :)

Thank you for making these videos! If I can watch when I was young, that would be very great. I like how you add interesting storytelling through process of building a house. My parents were so confused why I can stay many hours in front of my computer. Actually I was in the middle of imagination during my gameplay. It comforts my anxiety and it's a way to express my creavity outside my school. Keep building!

Incredible job on building that! Loved all the details about the rooms. It is a well-thought building that just needs a hard-working Sim family to move in. (Or a family that just uses the money cheat).
I was inspired by this and build a castle of my own. It took six hours but it was worth it.

This is really cool! I like how you thought logically about real medieval castles and tried to make it realistic! I've always wanted to build one because there are a lot of medieval items and decorations in ts1 but I've never had the time, but I'm glad to see you doing it! 😁

You should totally get Sims Medieval! It doesn't have anything that spoils the fantasy, like running water xD and you get to play by doing campaigns like a RPG. Truly a hidden gem in the franchise ♥

As far as I know The Sims Medieval has the aesthetics of TS3, you create your own monarch, give them a personality and political goals and then the game gives you challenges, but you can´t build anything. I watched people play it on yt and it was really fun.
And the new TS4 kit (?) with medieval architecture is basically only for building and it looks really great, like nice and charming or even decrepit.
I bought the sims medieval recently and I've only done the tutorial but so far it's really fun! The sims 4 kit I haven't bought but might do one day 😂
who is gonna live in it? are you gonna create a royal family or very wealthy one? what do you do when you're done building houses?
personally, i'd totally create a royal family, make them move in and then have them rule the world lol

I hadn't thought of trying to build Hogwarts! I guess it might be quite hard because there's no way to have more than 2 floors, or dungeons etc, it might be easier in Sims 2/3/4. But I might have a go sometime 😅

3:35 Actually I discover little trick which allow delete roof above closed room in sims 1 (you can make courtyard) - if you make any unevenness in indoor (little hill or hole) game not draw roof above this rooms. Only still this rooms will be dark - so you need some extra mods for windows make light always, not only in external walls.

I like the Sims Medieval. The story fun and waky and the buildings and objects are quite pretty buuut there's not much freedom if you are a building focused player. All the buildings are a pre-made shells and you can only change the interiors. Still quite fun tho.
Oh I didn't know about the buildings just being shells! But the gameplay does look pretty fun 😁
