DENMARK AND GERMANY MENTIONED 🔥🔥🔥. 11:30 In Danish, the D is often pronounced as an L when it is in the middle of the word and not at the beginning, as in the word Odense. I'm not surprised that Christianity took a while to solidify in Denmark and that there were many relapses, we Danes love our traditions 😅. The series "Vikings" often showed the difference and interactions between vikings with their beliefs and Christianity, there were also a few scenes where Vikings were baptised, really good series but I only watched it until Ragnar Lothbrok died. 47:20 yes I can confirm that we all look like that. Great video my friend keep it up 💯.
I appreciate the timely reply. I figure if you're talking mandating catholicism, & since you talked Saxons and vikings well, it's the next logical step. Thanks ever much
Alas! Is that a new banner at the top of the channels page? I'm a little hesitant asking as I often notice things after they've been a thing for quite awhile 😂
Hey! Do you think you could add your newer videos to your playlists? I really like to just start one and play it all the way through that way I don’t have to search for another video 😊
@@ASMR_Historian ahhh! I was wondering the same. I must say it doesn't sound at all like you're reading a "script"! It all flows rather nicely. I bet in your younger years you never envisioned ASMR history videos being your true calling card! 😄

I did watch a few episodes of that program, Vikings. I generally don't watch much TV but the aesthetic of it was interesting.
I'd love to hear an episode if practical on the reign of Charlemagne
I have done an old video on Charlemagne, a little dated but it still holds up. Maybe I will do a new one soon.

Actually I just got it done, only changed it this morning. Hope it looks nice.

Done! I've re organized the medieval history playlist to have the last few videos appear at the top.
@@ASMR_Historian wow that was quick, thank you! How do you put out so many videos so fast?
I have help with the scripts, which is the big part. Also I quite enjoy making these videos so that makes it easy to spend the time on it.

@@Bisconaut In my younger years I thought my true calling was to be a vocalist in a black metal band.
Christianization of Netherlands? 🤔
Imagine if the Vikings choose to convert to Islam due to Abbasid Caliphate trade and influence
Could have been interesting, that's for sure.
