Recently I discovered that for the small bridges you don't need the special projects building fully staffed, but for the really large projects, like the big bridge leading you to the farming village, the big rope bridge near the abbey and the lighthouse in the SW corner of the map require all 5 slots to be filled with workers in order to be completed. I've also found that a 5x5 field is great and manageable for a single worker, and although I've tried different types of food, for the early game, I think it's best to plant rice (cereal), soybeans (beans) and gobo (vegetable) as those ingredients provide the easiest recipes to make in the kitchen. There are still some things I'm waiting for the devs to patch in to the game, like recipes for flax and hemp, but so far I'm having a great time with the game. I loved Medieval Dynasty too.
Right on! Good tips all around! I think the fields are still limited in how much people can work until happiness is introduced again. Previous I got my workers up to 31 field slots, but they were quite happy! Rice is the go to for me too, it does the job for just about everything and grows well each season. Thanks for adding more knowledge here!
Thank you for making this video for the new update. I was excited for this game when its first trailer dropped, but I was disappointed on seeing the state of the first version. Its nice to know that most of my pain points have been ironed out. I will have to pick this game up since its obvious that the dev's plan to update the game and are willing to take honest criticism to heart.
Glad you enjoy! They’ve done a good job so for of making improvements and seeing what needs to be done. I will make some guide videos as we go and update as more comes out for the game!
Keen. Just figured this out. You may or may not know this. The Fast building works awesome. You have to multi click the mouse button while building. Each click progresses one portion. Multi clicking will fly through the building process. It still uses all the resources needed so its just fast building... Great!. I'm SO excited to figure that out. Game changer.
Yes! With that being the case, you don’t really need to build near Sosogi anymore! It’s truly open. Now…by building a place on Sosogi you do get faster access to some of the quest goals and starting workers quick. Not that it really matters, go at the pace you want! Just watch out for boars and wolves as you look for a place to settle…
@@science7gms Honestly, stay in Sosogi (the burned down village) if you don’t have a place you immediately want for an easy start. The building tear down into resources and it’s a nice flat area. Now, if you want to stretch out a bit…I like the shoreline far to the south of Sosogi. Past the temple and the island off in the distance. That area is decently flat with some farther south areas that are very flat. There is clay not far away and a Motherlode iron sands mine you can build. It’s not too far from Segi as well as Aratani. With fast travel that won’t matter too much. Boars are the only real danger around there and there are lots of trees near by. Another area is near Iwasaki. Literally anywhere around there as there is lots of flat land. However…there are wolves near there and boars which get to be an annoyance while you gather early resources. In the end, I like the chill start with Sosogi and the rebuilding of the people’s homes. Just feels good. You do what you like and love it how it is! You will have a blast no matter where you place your bells. I will try to get that location video up ASAP… it will take a day or two though with my schedule…
@KeenFool it looks a lot better than mediaeval dynasty I hope they will add a lot more to the game there's a lot you could do for this game that could make it a lot better always appreciate you getting back to me thank you again 🙂
MD is a much more fleshed out game with a lot more content and things to do. SD is really limited, at this time anyhow, and the level up system is limited too. The game is beautiful, and I love the style they brought to it. Will it out do MD over time? I’m not so sure. It’s got potential to be a nice parallel with it with a nice setting and art style. By the way, I did the video with the count today. It’s way more hilarious than I expected. What are your thoughts? Have you tried SD?

I did not know that and I will be using that for sure! Thanks for letting me know!
I love your history lessons!! Very interesting so thank you! This was a great start to a new season. Thanks Keen!
Thank you!
Thanks for this video. I’m looking forward to playing this. I’m currently obsessed with Medieval Dynasty.
Glad you enjoy! I am also obsessed with Medieval Dynasty!
Keen Check out the stone pillar in front of the village? Fast Travel???

Any recommendations? Going to start tonight again.

Great advice. Thanks Bud.
Wouldn't it be nice to build on the old structures when you come into the village that are burnt down just an idea 💡
@@seanhawe9759 That would make some sense and give a reason to rebuild some of the areas!
@KeenFool if you could go to that area and build up I think that would be awesome

So which you think is better this or MD?
