@@TheAiGridah ok that makes sense then. I noticed a few things that made me wonder! Sorry to hear about your throat. This makes me realize that this tech is very useful for those who may not be able to use their voice. Take care and thank you
It seems like you used AI to generate the voice of the video. Or maybe you used AI to cut the video. However, it misses pauses and somehow it feels very unnatural to listen to this.
I am pretty sure he took their facts & figures in chinese, had it translated, then passed it on to a voice clone. there are several hick-ups in the translation like "km/h" is spelled "kilometer per H", which a human would not do.
FYI The Unitree G1 is actually about double the price that's commonly published unless you want the base model that isn't capable of much at all, the full version is in the $30k to $40k range with hands and a computer that supports AI functions. Still a nice looking robot though.
It might make sense to get one of these and rent it out as a house keeper that can hit multiple homes in a day. Same appartment preferably. Vandals gonna vandal.
Bit of a liability to be doing house work yet. Throwing granny down the stairs might be a glitch that's very costly. Think Tesla's idea on focusing on industry first is less problematic for the first few years. We have not seen its ability to understand the world around it.
Sadly, none of these robots can still scale a ladder up and down and be able to move through a crawl space to, for example, replace a filter in a house’s furnace located in the ceiling attic..
This is great but can we just get some kaiju construction models that have a human like design but are like 4-10X larger then human, that are insanely strong and replace traditional construction equipment in certain cases .
Why is everyone in the comments shocked that he was using AI to voice over the video. Clearly he was an opportunist who took advantage of the lowered bar of video production due to Ai, with his channel to begin with. This dude is garbage and isn’t original
If you don’t understand China, you’ll think they are pulling ahead and away. That’s not what’s happening. They’re trying to get into the game as early as possible to have a “lead”, but this won’t last. Expect big competition in this space starting next year. Early days.
China: Overpopulated country, let's make with the humanoids to more overpopulated. And why better and faster a humanoid robot in the industries than the traditional robot arms, or machines?
That guy at 14:30 will be the first victim of our robotic AI overlords. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
kilometers per aitch? are you using AI to voice your videos?
What TTS model are you using? The voice quality is pretty good.
I was using a fine tuned version of ellevenlabs whilst i had a extremely sore throat. Trained on 3 hours of aigrid footage.

Definitely a different delivery no “really really”, no “very very”

ok so robotics is basically a kage bunshin learning jutsu
Wonder what the most optimum design is, of robots, in our world.

Crawling around upside down under my DWide fixing sagging insulation. Be nice to have a bot to clean the moss off the siding😂
Yet...
Shouldn't be a problem going forward. Maybe 2-3 years. Less than that and I would say it was probably barely adequate vs veteran.
Are you using Ai voice generation for your videos now? This video seems a little off. I could not finish it.
sometimes he is, he said because of a sore throat which is fair i think
You were using AI voice in some parts of the video, do you think that we are an idiots that we cannot realize, we want to hear your voice
And yet, here i am still having to deal with Apples' new shtty UI for the ios18 'Photos' app🚽🚽🚽🚽

This video style sucks. If you continue to push AI generated voice then I am out !
While this ai voice is pretty good, what goes per h?

Humans will value the robot that moves most like a human.. that’ll be the “iPhone moment” when everyone pays attention.
what would you use a robot for?
Chores
Cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing
Mowing, raking, gutter cleaning
Everything that I didn’t want to do, and maybe even that 🙂
Dishwasher loading and unloading is the killer app and maybe babysitting 😂
I want it to become my best friend
There's only one thing men want to know about humanoid robots, and they aren't there yet.
We will be waiting...
Make every joint a ball joint and give it a bendable spine.. then it’ll move like a human.
Ai Is the best thing ever released by white hats
They’re even adopting robots and automation faster than Japan, despite the latter having this culture of glorifying robots 😦😦😦
Makes phones look like a joke
9 again not 10 ? :)
Hire a video editor bro
Br orather talks about chinese robots than about the new gpt canvas feature.
None of these will have anything on Tesla's Optimus! You'll see on 10/10!
Give me one that looks like a beautiful woman I'll pay cash.
