Hey thanks again for making that wonderful video, when you're talking to people on the streets or on OmeTv I feel so motivated to keep working on my German and Portuguese, keep it up. Te envío un gran abrazo desde Colombia 💪💪
I have studied a number of languages more or less intensively: Arabic, Czech, French, Italian, Russian, Slovene, Spanish. Two things that I keep in mind: 1, you will probably never chive the level of fluency of a native speaker, but you will be able to understand people and to make yourself understood; 2, a quote I read many years ago (I believe in a Berlitz language book) that learning a language is the most natural and normal thing for a person to do because every human being on the Earth who is not completely incapacitated speaks at least one.
These bargaining video's are interesting because they show us multiple factors : a bit of the trade culture, the products, the vendors, and peoples stories! Do these more often they are a good concept! Are there any Americans that can tell me how it is to see these multilingual conversations? I think its interesting to see people switch between different commonly known languages outside of their own language to help eachother understand eachother.
It is a higher level of interaction, as it is not just a memorized sentence. A person has to actually pay attention to what is being said and be able to haggle. Effectively customer service in sales and increase social skills.
I wait for the day to meet you. I speak fluent Russian, Cantonese, German, Croatian, French and English. Learning spanish and Italian pretty intensively. 6 hours per day each. My method... Lots of hours and super intensive. Tons of input [ex wives for example] and 1on1 classes with 3 hours per day italki. Tried to book a paid consultation but you don't offer this yet. Cheers

Awesome video. Speaking the language probably makes the merchants more likely to bargain with you. Or maybe Croatians are just very nice people lol
