i think it comes and goes with the color. I think yellow and blue are alright, especially since those can be associated with the company, green is a big pill and red is straight unbearable.
Nice to see a low cost airline having extra legroom seats that aren't just at the exits so everyone can access them. That walk to the hotel looked a bit sketchy though! I'll pretend I didn't hear your comment on the Condor livery seeing as I have every colour model on my shelf 🤣
i've only had enjoyable flights with ew so far. the fact alone they're offering so many extra legroom seats per plane and the usually very decent food already makes me linking it and the crews were lovely every single time. the only negative event was a non transferred piece of luggage on my trip to japan, so if you have a connecting flight, make sure you ask for its state at the transfer desk. also when you dont get your award currencies credited automatically, it can take an eternity for it to be credited retroactively. so direct flights? absolutely. connection flights? depends.
Very interesting video, Dom…..and I laughed at the Burnistoun reference 😂. The path to the hotel was a bit creepy, though, would hate to do that walk on my own at night 😮. Thanks for another great video 😂
Great video Dom. TBH a traveller could hardly go wrong choosing EW. Why ? Not only is it part of the LH Group (as you noted) but LH mainline does *not* operate international flights from Germany's regions plus Berlin the nation's capital. (LH mainline is all about feeding its FRA and MUC hubs with international flights). Therefore EW is left to serve business/political cities like DUS, CGN, HAM, STR, BER etc so it mustn't let down the LH brand ! One point to note is that EW also operates some long-haul routes.
Lufthansa (literally: Air Guild) certainly lives up to it's 1926 name. I think they own more brands than any other group. So they try and fill every market; interestingly SWISS is intended to be their top premium brand with Lufthansa itself being the second in the pecking order.
I've only ever had positive experiences with Eurowings. I fly with them frequently between EDI and CGN or DUS to visit friends and I have secured fares for £38 return. I really hope easyJet don't force them off the EDI-DUS route as I can collect Miles and More points. I do need to point out one inaccuracy in your video- Eurowings serve three routes from Edinburgh- Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart.
Flew on eurowings 6 years ago as I just picked the Lufthansa ticket suiting me best (HAM-MUC-AGP AGP-ZRH-HAM) & yes I do like swiss for chocolate & tax free (leaving the eu hehe). It was cheap & cheerful yet It wasnt as cheap as wizz or Ryanair.
I do want to include more stuff other than just aviation so suggestions like this are gold! Thank you, it’s hard to know what people will enjoy or not but will definitely give this a try. 😁
Nice flight, shame it had to originate from Edinburgh Airport which is a ghastly place. I think £75 for an extra legroom seat is a pretty low fare for a flight like that. Frequent flyer point too. Well done!
Jesus f'ing Christ, you realize that many foreigners, not just English speakers can't make the Ü-sound.. Even non natives who speak fluent German often can't get the Ü-sound... Is this new to you? If you were actually interested in languages, this would be clear for you
I like Condor's livery!!!!
Its unique

Currywurst and coffee. For me as a German it's a weird combination. 😁
But it seems you enjoyed your meal. 👍
Nice review.
Very nice video. Thank you for sharing this with us
Ugly aircraft???? Condor has the best livery ever!!!❤
Yesss

Fantastic video again Dom!

Great Video And Info
It looks like a solid product and the food looks good too.

Black Sheep Coffee really nice, always my number #1 stop whenever in Aberdeen, trying to get them to open one in Inverness.. 😂
A really informative, interesting and enjoyable watch. As always, great work Dom.

Do you have go book far ahead to get them prices?
Pretty good at todays prices, how much extra was the extra legroom ?
I have fly with Eurowings couple of times. Great airline
Thankyou for insight
Definitely will consider Euro Wings for my next trip
Merry Christmas
Happy 2025
Hi Dom, with all the flights you do, which airline has the best coffee?
I actually really like the condor livery
Good to know that seats with extra leg room are available that are not just the exit rows
You have to pay for the extra leg room, of course.

Is there a moon surface on the ceiling of the hotel room?
Yeah, I like browsing through airlines, too.
Edinburgh Airport looks rather impressive.
@@Jimo1956 too small and cramped, much prefer the space Glasgow has
Just as well you weren't heading to Busan in South Korea, it if was Busan especially on the train, that could've been a different story.16:38
Dom nice video.👍 Question why dont you review the hotel quickly and give us the price? Always looking for new hotels when spotting abroad.😊

@ cheers.👍
Another great video finally
Oooo, that troll to the hotel..............looked you were going through a textbook dogging spot! Dead creepy.
I really like Black Sheep Coffee

Edinburgh is a great airport. Used it many times rarely had problems with it
It's Düsseldorf not Dusseldorf or Dasseldorf.

Eurowings can be the most expensive airline on some routes. I wouldn´t call it a budget airline at all.
You never had black sheep in union square? The coffees pretty good if a lil pricey but the food there is always disappointing and overpriced.
No way you called condor very ugly😭
Eurowings is no longer a low cost Airline
@@ppilihP I partially agree with that. Their base fare seems to be around £50 about the same as easyJet but more than Double what Ryanair start at.
Ibis Hotel looks like Jail Cell. Disgusting.
I like the striped socks.
