"Never get wrong my boo i have no gwansim in that bag" - joy's rap on dumb dumb
+myungsoo2011 It's actually in Ice Cream Cake... but a funny line nevertheless :D
Thanks for the explanation!
+Sophie Marta Thanks for watching!!
흥미趣味,兴趣,interesting, like 재미있다 ,
관심 关心,care about...
I think 흥미 is a subject of curiosity, interest.
like when you say "that is interesting" (kinda like peculiar?)
and 관심 is i am interested (emotionally invested?)
Is anyone else having trouble with the arirang radio link?
can you please explain the difference between 형편 and 상황 also I know the difference between 심심하다 and 지루하다 but what about 따분하다?
Maybe I can help :)
형편 means "personal ability" or "personal situation/position." For example, if I do not have a lot of money and cannot afford to buy a car, I would say 저는 차를 살 형편이 아니예요 (I do not have the ability/ I am not in the position to/ I am not in a situation to buy a car).
상황 means "situation" in general. So you can use it to describe many types of situations/predicaments/circumstances.
심심하다 means "is bored." It is used to describe a person's state. Like 저는 지금 심심해요 (I am bored right now).
지루하다 means "is boring." It is used to describe something or some situation. Like 이 수업 진짜 지루하다 (This class is very boring).
따분하다 means "is dull or plain."
Hope this helps :)
wow thank you so so much!!!
-에 관심이 있다/없다 is correct whereas -에 흥미가 있다/없다 is incorrect, yes?
Also usually 흥미 is used like a verb, like "흥미를 느끼다" to say (I) have (an) interest.., whereas 관심 is used as an adverb, like 그에게 관심이 있다 to sat (I) have (an) interest in that. I think?
+Jordan Taylor 흥미가 있다/없다 is also correct.
"흥미를 느끼다. " "흥미가 있다." "관심이 있다." "관심을 가지다." "흥미를 가지다" are all correct.
And how about 흥행? I cannot make it clear as the translation seems similar to these two words
관심 is sort of basically “applied 흥미?”
I don't get it
So huengmi is towards a subject and quanshim is towards a person?
no, they said that you can have kwansim 관심 to cars
+Sonja Olivia You CAN have either 관심 or 흥미 toward cars.
It is very subtle difference, hard to explain.
If you have 관심 to something, it means that you are interested in something, but it does not necessarily mean that you like it very much. That is,, If someone says 관심있다, he/she is interested in something, but you cannot determine that he/she likes it very much. Only one thing sure is that he/she doesn't dislike or hate it.
However ,if someone has 흥미 on something, it means he/she is interested in it, and simultaneously, he/she likes it obviously.
In addition, if you say "저 사람한테 관심있어요." that means you are interested in the person, romantically. In this case, you don't use 흥미.
0:55 That was funny LOL
興味 VS 関心?it's a pity that korean no longer uses mixed script.
