- The amazing finds keep coming in our second visit to our local favourite beach which has been recently dug out and sea defences installed! We found some romantic objects, one of which is very special indeed! Come with us on the very blustery day and see what we found!

Everytime I see all those pieces of cool pottery on the beach, I think abt using little tile clip cutters to make doll house pretty flooring, walkways or roofs.

Lots of goodies on this mudlark. The way the love token is bent makes it look like a lily. It would make a nice pendant for a necklace.

I love the history that comes from Sherd Stories. Amber glass protects light sensitive materials - you often see it in laboratories for that reason. Same reason it's used in beer bottles - to protect the beer from going skunky. Lovely flowers at the end - it's nice to see that many wildflowers blossoming in one place.

I saw something today in a shop made me think of you all. Then watched your video and when you found one I just had to tell you all. The spoon handle bit you found, I saw a really cute up cycle. Hair clips were glued to the bottom and they were adorable. Just thought you could make some with all the unique pieces you find . The patina on the one you found in this video was so pretty.

Some amazing finds!! Your Sherd story was particularly interesting to me. I used to work at St Thomas’ Hospital and the building in picture at 28:36 still stands on the south bank behind the new main North Wing and the picture actually shows my office n the middle section which faced the River Thames and the Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster). I loved hearing the history, thank you so much for doing that research! 👍🏼

Hello lovelies, hope your day is great. The first find of the pipe, just below it was a spoon handle just protruding rom the dirt. also what appears to be a bead or badge top left. You guys should try and do a live where we can see stuff and ask stuff, would be fun.

I liked the amber bottle and stopper. The orange/yellow stopper at 12:49 is the best find of the day in my opinion. The teeny, little jug at 25:52 is adorable.
