The devs expect most of the players can't save all the characters who can control them. So, they don't have a scene when Mike and Sam reacting about the only body who died which is the flamethrower guy. It's between over confidence or just being lazy at the late game, that's what I'm seeing.
It’s kinda funny that Sam is considered the main protagonist by many but while most everything was going on she was taking a really long bath and hiding in the basement?
Sam and Mike are the lead protagonists because they are the most important in the game's plot. Which means, mostly Act Three. in Act Two, it's Mike and Chris, although Chris only does stuff with the psycho. he then has the Wendigo shootout in Act Three, but it's not that important. Mike always fights with Wendigos, whether it be saving Jess, getting out of the mines, in the sanatorium, in the sanatorium again, in the mines again, or at the lodge. He also runs away from them in Act One. Sam is arguably more important than Mike in Act Three, which is when the game really shifts into survival. Act One = getting to know the characters, setting up the plot Act Two = psycho attacks the lodge group and is the main threat Act Three = psycho and flamethrower guy questions are answered, Wendigos are the main threat Since Act Three is the most important act, and Mike and Sam are the most important protags in Act Three, they're considered the lead protagonists. Mike also has a LOT of playtime in each act, but has a ton of flaws to his character. He's more of an anti-hero with how many fucked up decisions he makes, while Sam is a true hero and most people see her as more of a true protag
I don’t know if anyone pointed it out, but a creepy detail I noticed is at 22:55 I believe that is the flamethrower guy in the cable car approaching as Mike & Jess leave to head to Josh’s lodge. Man, this game is just so good with the horror atmosphere!
17:22 Emily: You guys gonna make out now ? Mike: oh ma gawd totally were soooo gonna make out !! 😂😂 Matt: *was confused* Me: *copies what mike was doing* 😂
*Beth. It's interesting that Wendigo Hannah wasn't eating the rest of her head though. Seems like there are actual feelings left. She was attacking the other wendigos at the final too. Seems like she doesn't like them.

You're so far the only player I have seen go for saving Emily and then using the flare gun as Matt. My question is, how do you prevent him from shooting it when you give it to him? I have heard two different options. One that, as Ashley, don't let him look through the binoculars at Mike and Emily together. The other is to disagree with her about going to the fire tower to check for a radio. I'm very curious as to which is it.
+Duck360Gaming2 Hmm, I see. So the actual choice is to disagree with Emily about going to the tower and that will make him keep the flare gun instead of shooting it immediately. And if one chooses to not save Emily and instead jump off, then Matt won't be in danger util chapter 10. Got it, then. Thanks for the info. That being said, I do know that if Emily keeps the flare gun, she can use it to shoot at a wendigo as she flees the mine, so it won't bite her. Do you know if there is any other way to prevent her from being bitten?
I didn't try the flare gun with emily but I have seen a totem with loss that shows emily dead by fire, so if you shoot the guy with the flamethrower he may lit emily, I never tried this as it takes way too long
+Duck360Gaming2 I have seen someone keep the flare gun and managed to use it against a wendigo when fleeing the mines (and it's a fast as hell point and shoot QTE), this being the only time she can use it, and that's how she doesn't get bitten. I wish to know how she manages to not get bitten if she hands Matt the flare gun, because her dying by fire is likely from the final sequence, if one as Sam chooses to run for the switch without Emily, Ashley and Mike managing to get out yet.
So may I just ask why was Josh going after Chris and Sam as well as the other because Chris was opposite Josh and Sam was looking for Hannah else where so they wasn't involved with prank, and yet Josh made Chris choose difficult decisions and he chased Sam around with a needle or a gas thing that she either gets caught by or not. Damn.
+Hermione 28 it sort of a way of showing that revenge and bad things are taken on the innocentest people to show that you're actions have consquences on people that it wouldn't have effected if you hadn't carried out whatever it was the person did. Not to mention Sam knew about the prank and didn't do enough to stop it and Chris was probably the reason Josh was passed out from drinking
+A Mead toùche yet psycho josh went after Ashley , Chris and Sam not the main people of prank including Mike Jess and Emily. Matt and Ashley were not the ones who came up with it but were involved. But thank you 😀😀
+A Mead also from what I heard Sam was looking for Hannah to warn her of the prank because she was against it and in return Hannah impaled sam( if she dies) for being nice :)
+Hermione 28 Ashley was part of the prank, as was Matt they had the opportunity to stop it. And Sam could have done a lot better job of stopping Hannah, like going with the others and waiting outside the door, or running after her when she left and doing something better then saying 'you're the last person she wants to see' she's a pretty useless character considering she's made out as the lead heroine - not to mention when Josh dies (if he does with Hannah crushing his skull) her reaction is 'that's awful', considering they were 'close' you would have thought her reaction would be worse
I feel like Jess and Emily had the worst experiences in my opinion. I mean Jess spent like the whole game being injured, attacked, and alone in the mines and Emily was abandoned by her boyfriend, alone in the mines, attacked, bit, and then once she found the group they turned on her and almost killed her. The other characters went through a lot, don't get me wrong, but they usually had someone they were with or had information and a plan. I feel like Sam and Jess had the worst lasting effects. The rest of the characters seemed shaken up, angry, confused, etc, but nothing too permanent while Jess seemed really traumatised and not herself at all and Sam kinda went a little mad which actually really surprised me cuz she had always been the smart, rational one even in the last scene, it was strange to me to see her lose it... That's just my opinion though.
I don’t think Sam went mad. I just think that she felt the whole thing needed to stop. Everyone coped with it the way their personality types would and this is who I think was most affected from greatest to least: 1. Josh (he turned and lost his sisters) 2. Jess 3. Ashley 4. Chris 5. Mike 6. Emily 7. Matt 8. Sam
Well, Emily did go through some shit but she is obviously more resilient than some of the other characters. I'd say she is one of the least traumatized by the end of the night. Jessica is probably the most physically traumatized character. Jess is unconscious for most of the so I don't think it's accurate to say she is mentally traumatized compared to the others. Ashley is the most fragile character and is the most mentally traumatized character aside from Josh, the devs said she is unstable later in the game from PTSD.
If Hannah and Beth hasn’t held hands, Beth probably could’ve survived. She only fell because Hannah accidentally pulled her down. But ig it to happen, cuz ya know, plot and what not.
If a horror movie was made of this movie, looking at scenes realistically or simply by horror movie stereotypes: Sam, Mike and Emily will survive, Jessica, Chris, Ashley and Matt will die, and Josh will be a wendigo. Sam and Mike are pretty safe unless you don't move, and that wouldn't really be a choice for a movie, they'd live. Emily would survive by taking the flare gun for herself, keeping a story of a kind of selfish character, which won't make the Mike shooting her scenario happen either, so she would survive. And Josh would live because the others find all the clues (the stereotype of horror characters being very curious and snoopy), he'd just be a wendigo. Jessica would die in both scenarios because realistically Mike being slightly faster doesn't change much, it was the same scene, just Jess was alive, and even if the wendigo wouldn't kill her then, she still wouldn't be able to outrun it in the mines because of her injuries, nor would she be able to stand completely still, so she would die. Matt would die because he tries to save Emily (horror boyfriends are on the girl's side no matter what, so he'd try to save her) which would get him killed by the wendigo, so he'd die. Ashley would die because of being curious about the noise calling her in the mines, and Chris realistically wouldn't be able to shoot the wendigo like the game prompts were in slow mo, doesn't know how to shoot a gun, and the wendigo's speed.
Emily is not a suuuper bitch, she's like a mean girl (Jessica too) who love and admire herself more than anything, like, everybody know a girl like her in school or whatever. But shes not that bitch, she have a good heart and shes super intelligent, but she don't show it everytime

One thing got on my nerves though is that Ashley kept whining about EVERYTHING! I'm quit sure her panic attacks will be heard by all the lovely monsters and killers near by. -_-
SPOILER ALERT ! So Hannah survived the fall and ate her sister to survive? then she got possesed by the Wendigo? or was she possessed by it while she was starving???
the stranger's journal and the sanatorium miners give you the clues that the Wendigo possesses you while starving on this mountain. it will give you an unquenchable hunger for human flesh
not all of them. concealing the evidence as Ashley is a bad choice but better than showing it, since showing it drops your relationship with Emily to 0 and leads to Emily slapping and pushing Ashley. it is the *better* choice but not really the right one. the right choice would be not getting Em bit at all, but that means you need to have Matt survive by jumping to safety, which makes his relationship with Em drop...
everyone knows you turn into one of em if only you go cannibal and not getting bit lmao... i am relating this to supernatural love this game now that i got to this point lol

How did you get Matt not to shoot the flare gun when Emily gave it to him? Because when everytime I watched some TH-camrs played it, they gave the gun to Matt, but Matt shot it.
I didn’t hear music at all but I actually liked it. Adds to the creepy realistic atmosphere of horror, especially the end credits with all the characters being interrogated; listening to their dialogues was so amazing and no music made it better and more realistic, as well as very eerie. I believe all the actors & actresses did an awesome job with their characters.
rainydays359 It really is. She didn't let Chris die on purpose (Ashley snaps. snap means suddenly lose one's self control. That is why she says "it was too late") and she didn't want Mike to kill Emily. I wish people would try to understand her character before they hate.
Where have I see that before...Ah, you copy and pasted that from the wiki. Point 1 and 2 are wrong I think. Point 4 is subjective. I do not agree with it at all. I don't know why people have to be so hateful and look for reason to hate. I like all characters, but Ash and Chris are my favorites.
rainydays359 He deleted his comment 😂 You should write your comment. Ashley needs more people defending her from this ridiculous amount of undeserved hate.
I say wendigo , they have much better armour than the ghoul and are incredibly fast agile , and are much smarter , but I have to say the ghoul is very strong . 1 on 1 combat situation the ghoul wins 1 on 1 in a forest tactic situation the wendigo wins.
If it was a ghoul that was a kakuja then it has a higher chance of winning because they are very powerful and agile. If you put one eyed Eto against a wendigo she would win, but it does depend about where they are. Kaneki could probably kill a wendigo when he uses his kakuja
I'm confused about how you become a wendigo. i get that the curse grips you to resort to cannabalism and turns you but what about josh at the end when he was a wendigo like how'd he turn? is there something im missing?
You don't get cursed until AFTER you eat someone. The Miners were Hungry and ate eachother, and then the windigos who used to be miners start eating other people. If you get bitten or eaten you don't turn into one. I think when Beth fell down the mine with Hannah, Beth survived and became very hungry and eventually ate Hannah. And since the spirit was released after the mountain was damaged by mining expesitions Beth became a windigo.
58:57 if this game was more realistic, you would have gotten a game over for how long you waited to respond to that. Women give less quarter than Windigos.
Plot Hole: Sam tells mike "Hannah survived the fall, but beth didn't." How did she know they fell? All you hear through out the game is that everyone says they ran into the woods and never returned. The flamethrower guy never said to the group he was there. You get that story from the totems. So how does sam know what happened?

Act One = getting to know the characters, setting up the plot
Act Two = psycho attacks the lodge group and is the main threat
Act Three = psycho and flamethrower guy questions are answered, Wendigos are the main threat
Since Act Three is the most important act, and Mike and Sam are the most important protags in Act Three, they're considered the lead protagonists.
I'm watching this at night...alone. Shit, this was a bad idea.
Ur in for a tough ride then >:)
me too jesus i pee on my bed

Emily: You guys gonna make out now ?
Mike: oh ma gawd totally were soooo gonna make out !! 😂😂
Matt: *was confused*
Me: *copies what mike was doing* 😂
Kinda cringe bro ngl. Hope you’ve changed
It's supposed to be a satire of the basic bimbos and how Emily talks. "Oh my gawd sis yas we're totally sooo gonna make out sksksksk"
That encounter with Hannah at the end.... damn that head turn was fucking creepy.
*Beth. It's interesting that Wendigo Hannah wasn't eating the rest of her head though. Seems like there are actual feelings left.
She was attacking the other wendigos at the final too. Seems like she doesn't like them.
2:51:44
There's *NO ONE* there except the Stranger (aka the flamethrower guy)
The devs expect most of the players can't save all the characters who can control them. So, they don't have a scene when Mike and Sam reacting about the only body who died which is the flamethrower guy. It's between over confidence or just being lazy at the late game, that's what I'm seeing.
+remtar85 If you jump early, you won't control Matt till chapter 10, if you disagree with emily, find the flare in the tower and give it to him
+Duck360Gaming2 Hmm, I see.
I wish to know how she manages to not get bitten if she hands Matt the flare gun, because her dying by fire is likely from the final sequence, if one as Sam chooses to run for the switch without Emily, Ashley and Mike managing to get out yet.
if she get bitten, you will have option to shoot her or not so its ok
+A Mead true they were all into it
2:13:35 Anybody having an idea how dangerous this fall would be irl?
She heavily reduced the impact via snow and rolling on the floor. It is survivable.
Sam or Emily??
I don’t think Sam went mad. I just think that she felt the whole thing needed to stop. Everyone coped with it the way their personality types would and this is who I think was most affected from greatest to least:
1. Josh (he turned and lost his sisters)
2. Jess
3. Ashley
4. Chris
5. Mike
6. Emily
7. Matt
8. Sam
ikr
Jess didn't deserve it
Well, Emily did go through some shit but she is obviously more resilient than some of the other characters.
*Most Favorite Characters:* Sam and Mike
*Least Favorite Characters:*
Emily and Jess
*In-Betweeners:*
Ashley, Chris, Matt

Everybody survived except for Sam and I was almost close to keeping her to live but I moved the control 😭
R.I.P your Sam
If Hannah and Beth hasn’t held hands, Beth probably could’ve survived. She only fell because Hannah accidentally pulled her down. But ig it to happen, cuz ya know, plot and what not.
I've never heard of this so it's pretty awesome to watch like a movie. Sad about Josh dying
I commented to early. This fucker is alive
2:48:40 Damn Josh..
T Clipse Lmao 😂
Anabel Carrión hehe
2:13:43 if this part of game were real life, Emily would be right dead, did u guys seen how faster that thing was coming!! Such games tho
Thank you so much for the video! Really enjoyed it!
Josh was eating that flesh like it was the best burger he ever tasted
Bruh Chris and Mike do NOT look like there in high school
The actors who play them were in their 20s
All the characters are in college
because they graduated high school 18 months ago
3:02:23 There's no way Hannah didn't see Sam move.
She saved Sam since Hannah was sams bestfriend, and Hannah realized it was her. She also saves mike in a different scene since she has a crush on him
If a horror movie was made of this movie, looking at scenes realistically or simply by horror movie stereotypes: Sam, Mike and Emily will survive, Jessica, Chris, Ashley and Matt will die, and Josh will be a wendigo.
I don't see why people think emily is a bitch... Because in this video, this guy shows that you can make emily be a lot nicer to Ashley
Emily is not a suuuper bitch, she's like a mean girl (Jessica too) who love and admire herself more than anything, like, everybody know a girl like her in school or whatever. But shes not that bitch, she have a good heart and shes super intelligent, but she don't show it everytime
+KraYZz the actor who played as Emily even called her a bitch..
When Mike scared them I was full screen but the worst thing I was drinking tea and at that moment I spilled it all over my face 😂
Thank the Lord my lab dog is curled in a ball next to me, snoring adorably. I never would've been able to watch this if he wasn't being so cute
Hannah’s wendigo got pulled mike into water but she left him alone cuz she wanted josh
dude it could be a movie
i love until dawn❤️💜
I didn't know you had to hide at some point during Sam' cutscene. That's helpful.
+xlightthefuse don't kill the animals !
+Duck360Gaming2 what happens if you kill the animals?
+mastildiana the animals basically take revenge every single time and cause things to happen that give the characters away in crucial moments
@@mastildiana
kill the squirrel as Chris: Sam gets hurt and caught by the psycho
kill the elk as Mike: Jess becomes scared of you
kill the elk as Matt: get pushed off by the other deer
kill the rat as Mike (sanatorium): gunshot attracts Wendigo
Josh killed pigs and they showed up in his nightmares
Aww man i always feel like shit when animals that helped u back and alone :(
One thing got on my nerves though is that Ashley kept whining about EVERYTHING! I'm quit sure her panic attacks will be heard by all the lovely monsters and killers near by. -_-
A bunch of teen's on a crazy old mans mountain
In canada
Missing alot and missed sound on one part.....
I Will never regret myself for killing my favorite characters Mike and Sam BECAUSE I FUCKING MOVED FOR THE LAST SECOND !
you nailed it man.... amazing....
SPOILER ALERT !
So Hannah survived the fall and ate her sister to survive? then she got possesed by the Wendigo? or was she possessed by it while she was starving???
While she was starving but it only started to change her after she ate Beth
the stranger's journal and the sanatorium miners give you the clues that the Wendigo possesses you while starving on this mountain. it will give you an unquenchable hunger for human flesh
1:30 is that the flamethrower guy or who?
Is anyone else thinking that the Wendigos are like Gollum on meth?
I like Mike a lot. He's so competitive, so brave. Ha, he's a really good character, ya know.
Are these all the right choices?
Gabriel why wouldn’t they be?
Yes
@@awesomegirl5190 for me the best is:
Emily not bitten
Emily respects Matt
Matt is alive
not all of them. concealing the evidence as Ashley is a bad choice but better than showing it, since showing it drops your relationship with Emily to 0 and leads to Emily slapping and pushing Ashley. it is the *better* choice but not really the right one. the right choice would be not getting Em bit at all, but that means you need to have Matt survive by jumping to safety, which makes his relationship with Em drop...
The characters are so real looking
everyone knows you turn into one of em if only you go cannibal and not getting bit lmao... i am relating this to supernatural love this game now that i got to this point lol
Near the end, three Wendigos in the hall, but only two come out into the main hall to fight.
It's not Hannah either, because it has miner clothes on.
one is thrown against the fireplace
one is decapitated by hannah
one chases sam at the end
All three sanatorium wendigos fought at the end. The third just waited for Sam to have a convenient chase
19:23, you have been warned.

sound cuts out at 1:22:50 . or atleast when it starts on sam
yeah, I got that too

Cuz of the music
Michael looks like Ward from agents of Sheild
yeah like...he's Mike's actor
How did you get Matt not to shoot the flare gun when Emily gave it to him? Because when everytime I watched some TH-camrs played it, they gave the gun to Matt, but Matt shot it.
@@sheriflotfy370 disagree with going to the radio tower

If the person transforms into a wendigo*, do they die
1:22:42 audio ain't working
Hannah really did a 1v2 against other wendigos and still won op fr
I didn’t hear music at all but I actually liked it. Adds to the creepy realistic atmosphere of horror, especially the end credits with all the characters being interrogated; listening to their dialogues was so amazing and no music made it better and more realistic, as well as very eerie. I believe all the actors & actresses did an awesome job with their characters.
Josh has the same clothes Viktor had in The Inpatient?
I know Josh way have gone way too far with the prank and all but I mean come on he didn't deserve to become a wendigo.
So hannah survived the fall???
And she ate beth and became a wendigo?!
Somehow.
Yeah. You have no idea how much rolling and snow slow your fall. Beth was killed by hitting a rocky part, remember.
Hannah survived the fall with a broken leg, not unscathed
why does everybody hates Ashley? She's my favorite character
The hate she gets is mindless tbh
rainydays359 It really is.
JEM12901 I could write a long ass comment about all of the 5 reasons you hate her but I'm sick and tired of having to explain this over and over.
rainydays359 He deleted his comment 😂 You should write your comment. Ashley needs more people defending her from this ridiculous amount of undeserved hate.
+Duck360Gaming2 Can I post your video in my channel? I will put Portuguese subtitles in it! I credit you.

I like Ashley tbh-
Is that a ghost in the background @48:37??
Ghoul vs Wendigo. Who will win?
+enriquepowers Goru
Ghoul easily. Regenerative powers and kagune that is very strong
Ghoul easily. Regenerative powers and kagune that is very strong
They should make a movie about this and it should be called stay still like so they can see love you guys💛💜💙❤💞
1:26:58 Me when I want to get someone’s snap but they don’t have one:
Am I the only who kinda ships mike and Sam (I am most likely) idk why, they stood out the most for me in this game
I'm confused about how you become a wendigo. i get that the curse grips you to resort to cannabalism and turns you but what about josh at the end when he was a wendigo like how'd he turn? is there something im missing?
+Jinora Kai josh was crazy n he was stuck in the mines got hungry n started eating the bodynim guessing same thing with hannah thats y she dug beth up
that makes sense thanks
Slick Johnson thanks
You don't get cursed until AFTER you eat someone. The Miners were Hungry and ate eachother, and then the windigos who used to be miners start eating other people. If you get bitten or eaten you don't turn into one. I think when Beth fell down the mine with Hannah, Beth survived and became very hungry and eventually ate Hannah. And since the spirit was released after the mountain was damaged by mining expesitions Beth became a windigo.
i get that they cannabalise because of starvation but ddn't the guy say that the curse would take hold of them and drive them to it as well?
If Matt has the flare gun, but he still chooses to save emily, does he die???
Nope. Unless you miss the QTE, but otherwise, he'll survive (I get that you asked this 5 months ago).

Good video dude :)
+twistedmetalplayer21 Emily told her at 2:15:37
RapingTime How did Emily know they fell? None of them saw it.
+twistedmetalplayer21 When Emily was walking in the mines she saw Hannah's glasses, photo and locket. Also you have marks on rock with the exact same date of twins disappearance, Beth's cross and her head.

For Until Dawn 2 I wonder if the all the survivors end up in an asylum and that asylum they are in turns out to be one of the places those people who made the wendigo curse. Think about It. The police Would've dropped the survivors of to an asylum and while they are in it a guard gets killed and while It's killing everyone in it the wendigo and the survivors find out a and have to escape. But they are also being hunted by the wendigo.
that's really good
sounds cool, wouldn't work. The Wendigo spirit only exists on Blackwood mountain and only possesses you if you starve. sounds kinda weird for a guard in a city asylum to be starving and get possessed by a soul that doesn't roam there
Really good use of the shepherd's tone
