Really? Because in almost every anime the parents are either dead, missing, gone, or useless, they have no function at all, i feel like Japan has an agenda against functional families and parents in particular.
This looks either rotoscoped or made of 3d CG with a filter on top (and potentially redrawing), as long as it doesn't move too much it looks pretty but an action scene would most certainly look stiff with this style of animation

It was a lot of work but me and my parents always made sure he has a good life. After all, we still love him very much, despite all of the ups and downs.
