A playtester leaked these images and some soundtracks, to which the PT and Sugary Spire devs are attempting to cover it up by claiming it to be fake/a fan game. Said playtester has also been removed from PTG’s playtester circle since. That same playtester also leaked the official sprites of the Noise DLC months prior to its release.

Its likely that McPig trusted them to be able to handle that part of the explanation well, because the lead director of Sugary Spire (Fishibi) is a part of McPig’s playtester circle. As for who is developing Big Break, its not certain if its involving Sugary Spire devs exactly, but the OG dev team of course has their hand in it.
