They have no incentive to get the game right, out the gate. If you made the game right out the gate, then less created players resulting with less VC purchases. They always gone be changing the game. Haven’t really played 2k since 22.
The problem is that it was great right out the gate. But then they made it stupid easy and cheap because of all the boycotts over pricing and whatnot
2k feels it is its job to make your build and jump shots obsolete with each patch. This leave a bitter taste in the players mouth
Face facts Mike Wang lied to the whole 2K community about not making gameplay changes for a couple months. Slider changes makes most players create more builds. This will happen again after NBA 2K25 drops, it’s part of the development cycle at this point. When VC sales slow down he will completely change the sliders influencing the gameplay.
This is why I make a pure slasher every year. The fun I get is dribbling and dunking on people. That's it that's all.2k been fell off years ago. Y'all really need to get into different games. No I don't play 2k every day never hit legend or level 40 been playing since 2k16. # PLAY DIFFERENT GAMES
Same I’ve BEEN PLAYING SINCE 2k10 I’ve been making a playmaking slasher every year. That is my play style park player my only gripe is pro play was cap dribbling is terrible The movement on the game is too slow The servers are the worst is ever been. And nobody TALKS ABOUT IT 2k is my favorite game and I haven’t touched it in months I might run a game and get off people are just telling other people not to complain about a product they paid for it doesn’t make sense
@@boogiefrmda4578 It's alot wrong with the game. I use to play the old 2ks all day but ion know it's just too many dam animations for every little thing it gets annoying. I like 2k don't get me wrong but man i just can't stay into it like I use to be. To me the slashing got watered down on 23 and 24 I use catch hella bodies on the older ones. But it is what it is. Hopefully they really get it back on track with 2k25.

Idk what game your playing but steals are still outrageous. go to stage 3s. Or 1s. If you’re not continuously moving you will get ripped repeatedly

I don’t mind if it was more challenging but I just wish there were better prizes and incentives for playing the game. More VC, better daily spin prizes, better MyTeam odds with the packs, etc.

Brute im sorry the feel of the game is not fun i been playing since 2016 and this game far from fun its only good cause its the only game around but soon as you see a realer better basketball game you will continue to think this is basketball but its really tricks lies and nerf to manipulate more money transactions I created jumpshots in some games don’t even look like the jumpshot I created even my free throw looks weird like my play wrist is broken it looks ugly 😂but this game is another rushed and unfinished game like last year and yes it has potential but they patched the game so much it’s not even basketball it’s 2k version of what they think is basketball

I have enjoyed tf outta this 2k. We in proam leagues and having a blast.
I said it was trash after week 1. Everybody else I play with liked it. This 2k could have had the potential but it missed by a wide margin. Offense easily trumps defense but dribbling animations are terrible . The defense algorithm makes no sense . The shooting system is fine but the variable shot timing doesn't make sense. If someone is heavily closing out on your shot it should speed up not slow down. Otherwise just leave it out. Still play the game tho..I mean it is basketball.
Honestly, random rec and other modes is like playing pick up ball, and the gameplay looks similar too. My only issue is the cheating devices. Sucks to never know if you getting cheated or if the person is really him.

I don’t mind variable shot timing as long as the animation and meter move 1 to 1, if the animation doesn’t move 1:1 with the meter, and we turn the meter off…it’s a headache

I say yes because this is by far the worst 2k server and I’ve been playing since 2k7, online since 2k14. The whole game almost feels like 2k20 random court when they had the Halloween theme in the park and that stupid witch flying over.
I say this humbly - but I play this game at the highest level of casuals 😂 This game isn’t bad but it took too long to fix the game. Also - they nerfed defense at some patch and the animations don’t make sense multiple times a game online. I’m taking a break from buying at launch. Hopefully 26 will bring me back.
Look here is my thing you have people that live 2K. So they have places for cats that think they are elite. The problem is when you create that the elite are not using it. Go to pro am go to anti up, go but not they go to the theatre and then complain when they get beat by so called trash. So they ask to make the game harder. NO GO TO YOUR ELITE PLACES.
Comp community doesn’t know how to adapt shooting was hard in the beginning and people bitched and 2k just kept switching things up everyday it felt like a different que. bottom line is comp wants 2k to play a certain way instead of adapting to the game. If shooting was harder pick and n roll might not be as good and they would have complained. But I understand the balance u have to make it fun and we’re casuals can have fun. But 2k can’t make shooting easy and dunking trash. I think next year they will nerf the dunk meter and all you will see is pnr all year. Balance is key.
Since my health got better everything around me has honestly.. i think the Devs did a fairly decent job, it somethings that could touched up For Sure but Overall.. 👍🏾
Bring back no squad for 2k 25 in park Please bring back park badges for 2k25 iron wall and bring back rookie to legend and make it easy to join new affiliations  and please bring back the Mountain Dew 3x tournament event in 2k25 and make my career matter with decisions and your story and bring back the grand badge and please Bring back quick reflexes badge in 2k25 and bring back my court and add new unique bulids in 2k25 with special badges and remove szns from 2k25 and i can’t wait to play 2k25

Absolutely not this game had no potential to be the best 2k of all time aat the jump.
You can't have the potential of that when 5v5 courts to small disguising defense is better when in reality people are able to guard two areas at once making zone more broken than it already was, input delay was atrocious this year with shooting and dribbling making onky 2 good moves per category so everyone plays the same. Shot timing variations needs to be executed right otherwise it's horrible due to the servers. Movement was to sluggish.
2k has gone into full profit mode. They don't care about competive gameplay they knew this once they started this route. They real ballers have left 2k and all that's left is people who idolized the gamers that left. Sadly these people don't have the skill set that their predecessor had why 2k has made offense so easy. They are targeting spenders and blind eyed gamers. The last 2k that was any good was the last legend race version we had I believe it was 2k20
Time for everyone to stop giving the devs the benefit of the doubt. They are only about money and the casual. The pros are less than half a percent of the game. Idk how we see the same thing from them since 2k18 and think they will go back. 😂

Season one was the best season everything was soo perfect 😢 I don’t mind playing still but this new wave of solo rec ransoms just be out there without being affiliated if I do get 25 they need to fix Match ups in rec

Get rid of regression that was a bad idea stop nerfing bigmen badges to make people more smaller builds make strength matter make badges that matches attributes and make all builds have the same amount of attributes points
They do test every patch, to maximise the amount of micro transactions purchased
This year is my best shooting year with 63% in rec with randoms and 62%in the park 🎉

I’m 39 years old I been playing 2k since oneal my best 2k was 2k14 don’t play as much but this 2k24 is ok but dribbling and shooting now is the same thing as the rest of them since they changed the sliders and everything else. I liked the game when it first came out
Preeeach!! IMO, the 2k23 shot system (and 2k21 NG) were top tier... the built in skill gap showed who was a shooter shooter. But like you said, folks complained till it was removed 🙃
Again i say rec should be split from (75- below overall pro), (76-84 overall all star), (85-92 overall superstar), (93-99 overall HOF) i agree this should be applied to pro am as you rank up

I bought this year's 2k late and to see how folks can buy their levels and allowing cheating kills this year for me. The game isn't bad but they can't keep giving everyone everything when it comes to this game. It's like little league, everyone gets a trophy and it shouldn't be like this. A lot of people have stick drift and don’t know it affects their ability to shoot an move right I just found out myself thought I was missing timing and it was stick drift the whole time
The game is what it is at this point I just wish they'd do something about the relentless screening, getting drug into screens when you're no where near the screen which is ridiculous.... But we know that's not going to happen but man the excessive screening is just shenanigans IMO
On release the game had squads in no squad rec as well as Zens. There were allot of bugs in the game. I play in rec mostly. Those were the most obvious for me on release. The out of bounds sensitivity was crazy as well.
The game was fine at launch, steals were op but it was easy as hell to shoot. They shouldn’t have changed a thing but folks was bitching
