What I love about this game is that Aloy's theme actually plays in the game. Like not many games do this stuff, they save the character's theme for cutscenes mostly, but I love riding on a Strider's back and listening to this theme on occasions, right out there, in the wilds.
Is it normal that at the end of this game I was emotionally devastated?

I remember not knowing anything about horizon. Never saw any trailers.
What i did to determine if i should play the game was to listen to the theme and the music. I absolutely loved it, i could feel the sense of discovery, the mystery, the stone age feel with sci fi elements, but also the pain and determination that aloy has. The music really spoke to me, and i could tell what kind of game this was just by listening to it, i bought immediately after.
This is not the first i've done it either. Just to name a few, I listened to the music first on last us part 2, assassins creed series, life is strange, witcher 3, before buying the game to see if i should play it.
Music is truly special, and horizon is no different.
You should put that one big paragraph in a review on PlayStation maybe
Same, music is a HUGE factor for me in a game (or anything), and I just bought horizon. Biggest factor was how amazing the soundtrack is!
That's exactly how I choose my games. For me: Only the music counts! :)

I do that for Anime like Code Geass, Black Butler or any Yuki Kajiura one

And the game was perfected yet again in the next game. Forbidden West. We actually get to climb anywhere and not just the designated climbing trails. Also the shield parachute is a fine addition 👌

This game made me stronger somehow... I don't know, made I believe that for more that humanity is lost and most of time we lose faith in it, we still can fight to change that. The final dialogue between Elizabeth and Gaia at the end of the game hit me hard. Made me see that we can fight for good, like Elizabeth's mother told her "YOU HAVE TO CARE!" We can't lose faith, if we wanna see diference in this world, for the better, we must start with ourselves. And also, Aloy! Created to heal the humanity, to save it. Of course sometimes we have to kill in the game, but we can see this isn't Aloy's nature, the creators said that..
Well.. is this.. The girl who voiced Aloy said the same, that the character made her stronger. I've already played TLOU, Tomb raider, all games with strong females, but none hit me like Aloy did. AWSOME GAME!

I'm very pissed when Sylen always act like he's genius and order Aloy like she's a puppet. And more when Aloy discover she's was created instead of born naturally where she feel so sad and that mf don't even give a damn. If theres a mission to disconnect Sylen from her earpiece I would have do that in instant. And also player should have be given choice either to save the tribes or not. Erghh stressing hahaha.

Which tribes? If you mean the Nora, that's Aloy's tribe, so you have to save them in the end. If you refer to the other tribes (the Osseram, the Banuk, the Carja), you can effectively ignore the quests as long as you want and just focus on the main story + doing other side quests and erands for people around. No one forces you to save other tribes just your own (the Nora).
turns out that i accidentally turned off music in horizon at some point when i got it and never once heard the actual soundtrack :)
