    If you are interested in making a professional throwing knife next time follow this tips:
    -Don't harden it, with impacts the tip tends to break very easill
    -Don't put a wooden handle because with shocks it breaks and more if it doesn't sink into the wood.
    -Last of all and more important. Your awesome design achieved to create a balanced knife, that allows you to throw it from both the blade and the handle but you are spoiling it if you sharpen that much the edges because you'll probably cut yourself.
    Apart from that, your videos are supercool, I really appreciate your projects and the time you spend on them. I have almost all the tools you have and you inspired me to do stuff like you, thanks :)

      Ok dude, say what you want. All I said comes here: knifethrowing.info , ikthof.com
      I don't give a fuck about the martial art you do, that martial art isn't as spesialized in knife-throwing as knife-throwing itself. So don't behave as a professional when you aren't. I'm not losing any time with you.

    Since in my opinion, table saw blades are tempered, the first thing you should have done after cutting the blade out, was to soften the metal. It will help you work more easily with it at the final shaping of the blade.

    • @csabagyarmathy6386
      @csabagyarmathy6386 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK so I've read from a comment below that the metal you used was already softened. In this case don't mind my comment.

    I have a question about hardening: Wouldn't it be better if you could harden only the edge of the knife, like if it is 3 cm wide, to leave 1 cm in the middle unhardened?

      This is Ganzo sharpener. However, I advise you to look for something with a better stand. This sharpener is pretty good, but to be able to steadily sharpen the knife must secure sharpener in a vise

    Please could you make a Butterfly Knife next? It seems quite difficult to make (to me at least) so i can understand if you can't. If not then maybe a large blade like a Katana or Machete. Also, if you could make any of these with a gold-chrome finish that would be fucking sick, i don't know what the actual name for that colour is

    Cool knife! What estimated hardness were you going for in your temper?

    • @trampmaster13
      @trampmaster13 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sharp Works completely depends on the steel

    • @SharpWorks
      @SharpWorks 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      S!ngularity not really, a 54 Rockwell hardness would be same no matter what type of steel. Otherwise hardness would mean nothing right?

    • @trampmaster13
      @trampmaster13 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sharp Works what I'm saying is that depending on the steel, you may need to temper at a different temperature to get the same hardness

    • @SharpWorks
      @SharpWorks 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      S!ngularity oh I understand that. I was asking what hardness he was trying to get because I know throwing knives need to have a lower hardness to avoid shattering on impact.

    • @trampmaster13
      @trampmaster13 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sharp Works I'd assume high 40's to low 50's
