Hi Sudhakar, the generic tolerance for the specification (mentioned is drawing) will be varied based on end application of the product. So, each company (design dept) will prepare their own tolerance for the specifications for which customer did not provide the tolerance in their drawing. Hope you understood now.
Sir , In my work , I saw a dimension tolerance which confused me to understand. It is a value of 23.5 tolerance (+0.1 to +0.3 ) so it's nominal is 23.7. My doubt is why can they given this kind instead of 23.6 tol: +0.2... Becoz u said 4 types of tolerance but the given is out of that types..
Hi Sanjai, this kind of tolerance also will be given by engg or design dept. Because, 23.5 is more familiar number than 23.6. So, nominal will be given based on familiar and common value and the tolerance will be adjusted according to the nominal. And nominal will not be the mean value always.
We can't produce same dimensions in all products, so accepted variable is called tolerance. 23.5 +.1 to +. 3 means if you make bolt or any parts in-between 23.6 to 23.8 is acceptable We can't produce all bolts in perfect 23.5

Hi Krishna, in drawing we can not see the sequence of processes. You have to see the process flow or control plan for sequence of process. In assy drawing you can see the orientation details and fitment & function parameters (they will be mentioned with critical / significant symbols)

Hi Kishore, In my knowledge it is similar to other technical drawing also. But, the roughness value will be motioned for some parameters particularly if it is a fitment / function parameter. For other parameters roughness value will be common and regular. That also will be mentioned in drawing. The major thing is, we should have CNC programming knowledge to write the program and give rpm, feed and other parameters to achieve the roughness value.

Hi Mr.Saranraj, RH means Right Hand (side) and LH means Left Hand (side). In a vehicle there is RH & LH parts which are symmetrically opposite in shape.
For example in cycle handle bar mirror, pedal are same drawing but symmetrical RH and LH used. Because right side handle mirror left side mattuna position correct ah irukkathu
