I bought the Hermes after watching that video about a month ago, where you mentioned it was one of your favs. Being a fan of orange frags I had to try it. I find it to be a light. refreshing and sophisticated wear. It certainly is unisex and you will get noticed.
I bought a decant of Atkinsons His Majesty the Oud on your suggestion. (I don't have any other oud, as my girlfriend hates it.) IT IS AMAZING, and I just placed an order for a full bottle! (Have you tried Oud Save the King?)
I can attest to gentleman Boisée! Very good underrated scent. The opening reminded me of Valentino Uomo Intense. The drydown reminded me of a mixture of valentino Uomo Intense and La Nuit De L'Homme L'intense; though, it stands on its own very well! I absolutely love this scent. Longevity is good along with the sillage. It wears as a cloak but the scent is what makes this scent.. Sleeper indeed! 🇬🇩

After listening to you hyping Eau des Merveilles now it just clicked into my head that there's some similarity vibe of salty ambergris between this and Creed MI. Definitely not a clone but it certainly does feel that both of them starts off from ambergris and try to wander on its own direction. Being Hermes, they definitely choose orange while creed took the airy ozonic watermelon route. Oh and you inspire me to put Roasted Coffee by Strangers Parfumerie as my SOTD. This is definitely coffee perfume that actually smells like coffee. Few of the stuffs I tried (including Prin's Thailand - Exclusive Caffeine Honey) does either smell like dark ambroxan or coffee - flavored vanilla syrup more than dark - roasted arabica. This one definitely delivers coffee through and through.

I was hoping for more than a scent which last at best two hours on my skin. And no oud is registered. Aghhhh. Was hoping for a sumptuous vanilla / Woodcut or Arso burnt wood combo with lingering oud. I haven't seen any of the top frag reviewers review my old school fragrance when I was 16yrs old probably for a good reason because now it is dirt cheap but I loved it and I got so many compliments back in the day. The fragrance I'm talking about is Rapport by Eden classics 1988 who also created mandate in 1976 which I also loved back then. Admittedly both not for everyone but I would love to see you review an old classic.

Im 40 and as I was getting close to turn 40 I was getting a lot of female fragrances most from the 60s-70s I will definitely buy some of these merveilles line, I recommend you to check Hermes Caleche Parfum it is in my top 10

We’ve only featured Gentleman Boisee once with the ladies and it was the favorite of that video. We got a bottle and have been wearing it a lot more lately. We just picked up glacial essence as well...it’s been perfect in the LA weather lately for a dumb reach, grab and go, you can’t over spray it and can be worn for the gym. Perfect for that kind of use.

I have and LOVE the Elixir De Merveilles- I don't have the Eau but it is pretty much the same- if anything the Elixir is stronger. Anyway it is absolutely incredible. Maybe I'll wear that tomorrow. Rocking Angel Muse atm.

I am excited- I really also love their esthetic.. but I bet I will love the scent. I imagine it to be a middle ground between Ambre Loup (skank) and Ampre Precieux (smooth perfection.)

Which is supposedly a clone/inspiration of PDM Pegasus. I was hoping for a stink bomb but it’s actually quite pleasant. But totally not what I was expecting. I got it from FragranceX and it appears to be the real thing. Anyone else getting that smokey, dirty, root beer vibe?

Funny story - Eau de Merveilles was one of the first decants I ever tried in the beginning of my "fragrance journey." Katie Puckrik did a review on it years ago that got me very curious. I wound up buying Elixir de Merveilles instead which I really enjoy but feel it can lean a bit too feminine for me to wear out in public. Cheers to you for bringing it out in the open again. What do you think about L'Ombre de Merveilles? It just hast Tea, Incense and Tonka but I find it magnificent. Only on women though.

It seems like Givenchy is incapable of producing a bad gentleman fragrance. All of them are really good.

Sedley by parfumes de Marley is better than Galloway in my opinion. I received tons of compliments.

Happyland is AMAZING! Like 19 Beastmode niche quality fragrances! Signature, Plum Loco, Paisley Sky, Amberland and so on. All bangers!

I have come across a gem out of Italy. Agatho prefumes. Absolutely crazy. Their _Fauno_ is the craziest fresh scent I’ve smelled in a long time.
