John 1:1-3 tells us "GOD" is the first family name ever Created that has for now, only 2 members in it... The Father of it and The Word (The Word is a job title which means Spokesman aka Father's Manager who later came in the flesh and we finally find out that being's name and it is Jesus).
From Adam's choice to self-Govern, The God family gave to mankind 1 week of being allowed to self-Govern (1 Day in The Spirit Existence in Heaven where Father and Jesus are seated, it is 1,000 years here on Earth for us Physical beings. 6k years is 1 work week (6 days) for Father in Heaven.
The 7th day, last day of the week, is rest aka The Sabbath. When Jesus returns and reigns for 1k years, this is the 1 day of Rest which is a full week for Father in Heaven 7k years for us here on Earth. This is to remove freewill from mankind aka self-torment of foolishness of Governing with Sin in us which = failure all the time.
Sure is something, that mankind since Adam, is close to 6k years while Father in Heaven, it has not even been 6 days yet.
For Jesus, it has been longer for he was of both Spirit and Physical while doing his job as Father's Manager managing everything.
Lord Jesus please forgive my sins, Pastor please pray for me that Holy Spirit will anointing me, Jesus please give me joy, peace in my heart

Deliberate delays = God's glory and unwavering faith. God is always working everything out for those of us that love Him. He knows our paths! He knows us. He KNOWS what we need even when life can be confusing. He is a good Father! 💗✝️ This was such a good word.

This is my Pastor, My church. There’s not a Sunday that God does not speak to me through this man! He is the humblest man I know. We love him and his family. They don’t make them like him anymore .
In our deepest moments of despair...hold on to God..HE is busy setting you up for a miracle! Praise and glory be to God our loving Abbah Father!
Sometimes, the only miracle, the only deliverance, is on the other side of eternity.
Like scores of martyrs could tell you.
No, they did not have "bad theology" - we do, if we fail to tell truth in its entirety. And we set people up for disappointment, when our cookie-cutter (modern) "Christianese" fails to work in real life.
You may not subscribe to the "theology of prosperity", but as a side-note: it would be funny, if not tragic, if we were to compare the expectations of early Christians regarding life here on Earth (suffering, hence eyes locked on the things to come) versus those of many today ("best life here and now"). We didn't discover anything new they missed, or others did, throughout centuries - we are wearing the "dunce hat" if we think so.
The saddest thing of all: Christians not reading their (entire) Bible, to see that the early Christians and all those up until a few decades ago (even those living in the prosperous West) got things right...according to the very words of God incarnate - Christ, the inspired ones of Paul, and so on.
People can "claim" and "proclaim" until they are blue in the face (and the devil more than amused by this perversion of the truth) whatever they want, when God's sovereignty says: "No." Good theology, founded on reading the entirety of the scripture, will save souls by keeping expectations in line with the truth. We receive if our will and His converge on a certain topic, at the time He wills it. Which, again, sometimes may be only in the perfect world that is to come.
By the way, I am typing all these as someone that saw miracles, and still expects to see miracles (been waiting on some for years...) in this broken world we inhabit.
So, as a friendly advice, if I may: the next time you feel compelled to tell any hurting person (going through real tragedy...I mean real tragedy) something similar to what you posted...please reconsider :). Our "bandages" cannot rely on half-truths.
God won't (most likely) set up the miracle of bringing back from the dead the child one just lost in an (apparently) absurd twist of fate - but He can sustain one so that he or she don't lose their mind, their salvation (another point of contention with some...one I won't entertain) and one day that persevering father of mother will join him, along with all the loved ones, on the other side, where He will wipe away all our tears.
Yes, some children of God go through an unfair divorce, then, just as they think they can get up and gather all the broken shards of their life, get cancer and die. Some will remain single until they die, regardless of their earning for a spouse. Some children will be raped, die of hunger; some of the most vulnerable members of society will be slaughtered. This is the world under Satan - even if some "triumphalists" act as if he's be completely swiped off of the scene of history already.
And God is no more or less of a loving Father for intervening or not in one's situation. He is Whom He says He is, regardless of our feelings; we do not write our theology based on our circumstances, we look at our circumstances based on correct theology.
And where we don't understand...we default to His Sovereignty. Which is what our prayers go through, before being answered with a "yes".
