I had soul ties to a lot of secular music. It was like sweet poison to me and I really loved it. I’d go to comfort myself thru it to the point it became an idol. I kind of knew it wasn’t helping me but I loved it too much but then my world was completely rocked and I was desperate for God to save me so I took a sledgehammer to all that music and as I prayed out loud and destroyed the cds and records I felt a real lifting in my spirit. It was incredible how free I felt. You can’t flirt with fire -it will destroy you and all you love. May you see things from GOD’s perspective.
