Excuse me, i opened the "disable unnecessary services" and restarted, my whole setup stopped working. I eventually fixed most of it but now my microphone is not working, not even detecting sound waves from it. I tried it with a different microphone but it doesn't work. Reply asap, thank you.
Let this be a lesson that to not try a TH-cam how to tech video without 100% knowing you can revert any change you put in your system. Almost wrecked mine before using vids like these, Godspeed.

Life saver, I was getting around 60 fps dropping to 30-40 in team fights, it shot up to around 144+ Edit: Nvm I also had v-sync on, turned it off im getting a stable 240+
i had 60 fps on overwatch 1 after doing in game settings and closing something but that setting is not in overwatch 2 or it dont work cuz i dont remember the setting but i tried everything ima try this to or i should play with pixels
@@ammartaha1029 no, blizzard added the freezing problem into the 'known issues' i hope they will fix it soon. i got 1 fix for the issue but its your preference turning off hyperthread on bios settings will fix the freeze option but you will get less fps
Stop recommending to disablefullscreen optimizations, you don’t need to do this on any OS before W 1809. You’ll just make alt tabbing much slower and finicky. There is no benefit to this anymore.

Go back to before you used "disable unnecessary services" registry tweak. Many files that disable services will break windows depending on your configuration. If you are using a pin to log on, disabling the credential services will result in the problem you are facing. In the future if you want to disable services make sure to do them manually so you know what you are disabling, and 100% create many restore points. That way if you break something you can preform a clean boot to narrow down what is not working. Pce!

I skipped the antivirus alert and literally the name was trojan.exe or something like that. pressing the download button took me to 3 different pages, with downloadable files of 1 mb, it was not mega, but rare pages I suggest you change the page and see a safer one.

Thanks that you understand the situation. Well, Certain apps stop working i.e background apps and some unnecessary services and in fact there are no side effects for these optimization until you messed up with things

Had to format the whole setup and my valorant account got banned after i opened that file LMFAOO
