Fall fishing for BIG WAHOO | Morehead City, North Carolina

Our morning started off slowly, jumping off a sailfish early on...however, the midday bite heated up and we connected on five BIG WAHOO before lines out. It was a good day of fall fishing off of our coast during the COVID pandemic 2020!

what is the best season of the year for wahoo fishing?

I guess it depends on where you are fishing.
Off of the NC coast the best time is probably during the fall, although early spring is also productive.

How far out do you go for wahoo?

Between 180-300 feet of water most of the time. The distance is gonna depend on which Inlet you leave from.
