Since the end of the shaft is flat, unlike some that have a tapered pilot, I don't use the pointed end on the puller so it doesn't skate.

That is true I do agree. I use the pointed end so there is no risk of squashing the threads on the steering shaft

Thank you very much! It’s my dream car. Your car sounds amazing as well. If you want to send me pics or a video with info I’d put it on my channel. I’m all about the cars. Thanks for the comment

@@ManderscheidMedia I have one quick video of the GTX in my videos, not sure if you can see it…but I am going to take another one with the new wheels I got for it. I’ll try to send it your way within a month.

    Hello.
How do I remove the Emblem from the center of the second/new steering wheel?

@@chrissione5677 gently use a small blade screwdriver or a plastic body tool and pop it out to access the nut

I’d be interested in the wheel and horn adapter, if it hasn’t sold yet. Thanks!

    Is that a 69 wheel on a 70?
Column looks much bigger than the wheel.
    I just bought a wheel for 69 from Laysons,was told don’t get the 70 because it’s larger.

The diameters are different form 1969 to 1970 that is correct information. To the best of my knowledge its a 70 column with an original 70 wheel

Oddly enough, mine looks the same, had to go put the wheel on after noticing it on this video

All that time rambling on about the horn but not a single frame of the wheel going back on or how he got it all the way down...that's what I came here for, lol.

You just place the wheel on the spline and tighten the nut finger tight till seated. Then torque it and you’re done. Sorry to disappoint you.

Sweet car but I think you installed the wrong steering wheel. The 70 steering column is bigger diameter than the 69 because of the key switch being moved to the column in 70. It appears that you installed a 1969 steering wheel because its smaller where it mates to the column. That's why you can see the internals of the column when done. Just a heads up.

Thanks for the thought but I had a 69 and a 70 this is the bigger one there was a definite size difference I checked it to a 69 b body also.
