Amazing performance on Pianoteq, really, and wow that new KAWAI Shigeru EK-SX, beautiful sound for every note, polishing excess of brilliance where it is needed, and all shiny where it needs to be, a very polished sound, all around in my opinion. I got my edition with the Steinways instead because I thought it was more standard, and with more presets and so on, but sometimes I regretted not getting the Petrof instead. This new KAWAI makes me think twice what instrument I could buy next though from Modartt 😅
Oh, yes. The Studiologic gets used more on average than the CASIO. The CASIO is used mainly for the livestreams and tutorial videos as it is that front facing keyboard. The Studiologic is still the workhorse it has always been when producing. I will sometimes use the CASIO for certain things as the keys have a different feel for certain instruments. Thanks so much for watching!
Simeon, I don’t know if you remember me or not we met at Melody land I have Piano Tech I am a blind user. Is there a shortcut for transposition? It’s too hard to transpose it in the app going to preferences and transposing it and trying to transpose it back any suggestions would be much helpful thank you I appreciate all that you do. 45:03
Hello David, yes my friend, so good to hear from you. I just took a look into transposition and it seems currently the only way to do it is through that process. I will tray and reach out to Modarrt to see if there is a faster way to do this. I know it is possibly easiest to transpose in a DAW or other host that might make it more accessible. I will let you know what I find out. Joyfully yours!
oh Simeon, I often cannot produce the same sound quality like what I hear on your TH-cam... not sure if it is my speakers or app or some set up difference... but it may just be the way you play... so I wonder, can you save like a 10 second MIDI file some where perhaps on Google Drive or a website, so I can download it and play on my machine, as if you are playing? Some suggestion maybe Moonlight Sonata 1st, Pathetique 2nd, Etude 10, 3, Mozart 545 2nd, Variation 18
Simeon, I had the same thought. Since the Pianoteq is "recording" the midi as you play, can you upload a copy at some point. Besides hearing the sounds on our own system more importantly we can capture some of the spontaneity of your performance which admittedly is wonderful at times.
So, I am working on that now. Of course I could not make everything available but possibly the Beethoven piece I did. I have to pull the video and all of the MIDI fragments in and try to align them, so we shall see. Stay tuned!
Hi Simeon. Thank you for your lovely music. You're getting some lovely sounds from the Shigeru. I see you have the PX-S7000. I have the PX-S5000. What touch setting were you using on the Casio please? Warmest regards, Chris
really? I can't tell so well... but with the speed of technology going, in 10 years, it is hard to tell what may come out... when 1TB microsd card is $25... and the sound wave production by algorithm is assisted with so called AI
@@winterheat For some, they just like to complain. It sounds real, but its easy to claim it sounds fake, if you know it is. It makes them feel better, powerful, to find something to be lacking, when it clearly is not.

Beautiful. Are you still using your Studiologic keyboard?

I own an actual Shigeru Kawai. Such a lovely grand piano.
Wow, that must be an amazing experience. Thanks so much for watching.
@ Absolutely. Your content is wonderful! I have made purchases based on your recommendations. Thank you for your contributions to the music community.
@@eugenephillips481 how is the pianoteq version to you? Is the sound close to the real one?

@@PraiseTracks it seems you can hear anything and be able to play it... but that may be my own impression!
For the most part, yes. I can approximate most things by listening to them and have been doing it for most of my life. I am grateful for this gift.
OK, here is the MIDI from the piece you had requested. Make sure to set your DAW tempo to 120 BPM and the MIDI resolution to 420 PPQ

Chris, I am using the default out of the box curve. I don’t think I have even looked at the actual setting 😂
Thanks for watching.
