I never thought about it, but it was my first intro to A Christian Carol followed by The Muppets a couple of years later. I always remember I had this version taped from TV on NHS along with Robin Hood. I watched it many times! It's a powerful and successful adaptation!
Hal Smith voiced Goofy. He was the official voice of Goofy from 1967-1983. He's also famous for playing Otis the town drunk on the Andy Griffith Show.
