You'll always have your bias, but honestly each of them will get you at some point through your journey, they're all too cute haha!
Preach! We each have our "ultimate" bias but each one of them will wreck it in their own way, every day.
I think this is the biggest dilemma we have as being an ARMY.. Constantly getting wrecked by them😅
Anpan is japanese. A "pastry" that has a bean paste in a "bun." "An" is the bean paste inside the bun ("pan" is bread in Japanese from the French word for bread). I just loved that BTS chose Anpan man as their everyday hero. We are all heroes by being who we are -- each of our "small" actions can have a powerfully positive rippling effect. :) and I love that BTS can get people to realize things like this. I think a huge reason why they are so "big" is bc even though they are big, we can relate to them as everyday heroes by the way acknowledge, embrace and share their insecurities, imperfections, goofiness, and hardships with us and can witness how they grow from them and persevere. Relatable and inspiring. The new super heroes -- they have inspired many to be vulnerable, grow from failures/mistakes, and to love themselves. Thank you for getting to this one, Roscoe! 💜💜💜

Yes, only that the "pan" word was introduced in Japan by the Portuguese, so we say is a Portuguese word, well pan is even a Spanish word too, but here in Japan comes from the Portuguese colonists.
JK, Jhope, and Jimin are almost always centered so hard to miss them but Joonie and Jin are danced ranked lower in terms of technical and experience. Therefore, it's endearing to see you look for them in performances. They work so hard to keep up with the pros so more folks should appreciate them. :)

Hobi+Jin are such a chaotic duo, we call them 2seok (Hoseok+Seokjin) :D I love them both to pieces.

Namjoon-ah was my bias and J-Hope was my bias-wrecker but now I'm triple biases lol, Namjoon, Hobi, and Jimin and the rest wreck me on the regular. And honestly a lot of army watch the mv 7x, once for each memeber lol!

actually it's usually to hear ARMYs sing along, they typically only do it for that reason at award shows. when it's just armys in the crowd they have nothing to prove cause we all know how great their voices are.

Anpanman is so fun! I know there’s some performances of it that were done with a bouncy castle thing on stage.
RM was the first recognizable voice for me also, then V and Jimin.
Airplane is a JHope solo from his Hope World mixtape and then Airplane pt2 is related to it but OT7. Highly recommend checking them both out and listen to them in order so you can hear how they’re related.

HEYO, ROSCOE!!! Yes, I'm one of the spuds that has been begging for this one. I watched the MNET comeback performance as my like 4th or 5th song and was smitten with Tae's raspy voice (Singularity sealed the deal for me on him being my bias). My two bias wreckers are Jin because of his jokester nature (just wait until you see more Run BTS episodes!) and being young at heart and Hobi because of his exuberance and sunny demeanor. I love Hobi's moves in Anpanman and the whole choreo. Jk was just too stinking cute at the end. This song always puts me in a good mood! Thank you for reacting to it!!! 💜

Our Bangtan do their best to keep fit and healthy in their own individual ways.. Here’s a few: Hobi~ Yoga, Meditation Joonie~ Pilates, Weights, Biking Jungkookie ~ Boxing, Weights, Running
Also, they practice singing While Running on a Treadmill 😎 Science Potato 😉🤟🏼☕️

Anpanman is one of my FAVOURITES because not only is it a BOP but it’s such a great message - you don’t have to be special to help people, just give what you can from what you have and that’s enough to help people and change their lives. Even with Anpanman he needs to go back to the bakery every night for a new anpan head 🙈😂 so you also have to replenish yourself before you can help others! Our boys are SMART 🥰💜
Such a fun song and a message that although they're just human they'll be our hero's in whatever way they can. Love it!
I'm OT7 but I'll admit Jin gets a lot of my respect and is even a role model because he worked hard to go from zero background in singing or dancing and made it to this level. They all worked hard but even the other members mentioned Jin would practice dancing late into the night by himself. Some might mention V didn't have much of a background bit he did play an instrument and mentioned he liked dancing and this has never been said of Jin
I used to watch Anpanman growing up!!! It’s such a cute anime. Best super hero in my opinion. You are like Anpanman! New generation hero!
Recently, on a vlive, they said that it was difficult for them to rehearse without Hobi, Taehyung wanted to sleep all the time, someone could miss a workout, this would not have happened with Hobi. I think Suga was also demotivated without a battery.

So the very original Anpanman was a Japanese children's book series starting in the 70s and running until the author died in 2013 and it was at some point turned into an animation which was also very popular...his head is made of bean paste filled bun...his weaknesses are getting wet and getting his head dirty....his head gets replaced by the baker who made him when it is damaged...he feeds pieces of his head to others to help them but it makes him weaker until he gets his head replaced...he does have super hearing so he can hear people who need help.....the song really does fit both the cartoon and BTS so well....it is one of my favorite songs ....I have a lot of "one of my favorite songs" :D
This was one of those fun sounding songs that made me get up and dance and then I found out how deep the lyrics were after that. The performances are so cute and playful. Kinda like Baepsae and Whalien52 in that way. I never knew about the Anpanman character before but when I learned about it, it was so perfect to describe BTS. They're not superheros with super powers but the way they sacrifice and give of themselves to help us is just as heroic. Something as simple as choosing to chat with Army on a live after winning awards instead of going to big parties is small but so meaningful. Or them working themselves non-stop to bring us music, sometimes for free. I bet your big comfy couch means the same for armys. I know it has for me, helping me to find something to smile about while grieving my dad. Anyone can be Anpanman I think is the message. Once you have the will to help others.

Beautifuly expressed ..."Anyone can be an Apanman" if you have 'the will to help others".....every ARMY can be a hero to another who needs someone (at any given moment) even if all we can do is listen to a person (who needs to express themselves & what they're going through) & let them know they're not alone and that we see them & we care, even ifwe only can share our compassion & give someone the strength to get through the one day, when it's a day they really needed it....BTS taught me this and they taught me that WE can also dig deep and even be our own heroes by remembering that we matter, always, even in the moments we may be alone, momentarily, we can be heroes & give others the strength to get to tomorrow..
We are lucky that BTS's 7 members looked beyond themselves & did and said so much in heir careers, withtheir fame, to help us all in the many ways they have, through their examples, their honesty, integrity, loyalty, respect, decency, commitment, strength and humor too, they really are our Apanmen.

Anpanman as per my interpretation of the song, -
"BTS realises what they are for armies; that armies believe their existence and music is healing them, is miraculous. And, instead of being afraid of the huge responsibility of taking care of us all, they have accepted to be our hero.
They are willing to hide their sorrow, stay tired and without family- all to keep on producing great music and other entertainment content to save us - some from loneliness, some from despair, some from heartbreak... hence, we are all muddy..
But, even despite calling themselves heroes, they are being humble saying that they don't have any special powers, they just can give us a lil peice of themselves and they will do that if we call them, in fact they want us to call them whenever in need saying -waiting for anpanman "

Can never choose a bias even though RM was the first member I saw. OT7 since 2013.
Pan is bread in Japanese, and yes it is a borrowed word from the early Spanish traders. In Korean, bread is bbang [빵]--rhymes with the Spanish "pan" and anpan. Anpan is bread bun filled with anko, a sweet red bean paste. I really like the metaphor of giving of yourself to help others...Anpanman literally does.
When I first watch a performance I watch it 8 or 9 times. First play is to just take it all in as much as possible, then play it to focus on each individual member, and a final view as a group.
Airplane is Hobi's is from his mixtape.
It's always a hype whenever they perform this song. You have to watch one of the live performances personally for me i like the Brazil one most

I've fallen into a wreck by each at some point. Jimin & Joon are never in competition but always my biases. Jin, Suga and JHope are my soul tribe! Tae and JK are like my sons that I will fiercely protect.

Airplane Is a J Hope solo that’s on a Hope World album. Airplane pt 2 is BTS. As a dancer the 3 Js always draw my eyes. Can’t help it no matter where they are in the formation. It just happens.

I love that they are wearing bell bottom pants in the blue clothes version because it really emphasizes JHope's funky chicken legwork on his part. But ALL 7 are super adorable and talented and take turns being my bias every day of the week. Of course Hobi is my true bias, but happily I will have fun enjoying all these kings on a merry-go-round. 💜 Note: Whenever I hear Jin's voice, it melts my heart, as I know that he is a hard worker going from "zero (in kpop standards) to HERO" (Anpanman?) - to be able to keep up with the energy and choreography this industry demands. This was fun as always Captain 👏👍🎶🕺🏽🙆🏻♀️💜❣️👏
Fun fact, most East Asians and nearly all Koreans lack a certain gene called ABCC11 that is responsible for body odour, hence it is very difficult finding deodorant in Korea. I can only imagine how sweet the boys smell 😜
Well, actually this gene has two variants, to put it simply and the variant most Koreans have allows them to have odourless sweat... But, they do sweat, that's human way of detoxification... However, while filming , I'm sure roscoe knows there are several ways to avoid these plus they have a good stamina, so I don't think a single song would affect their sweat glands so much..
Oh I realise they sweat, I’ve seen evidence enough times after their dance practices and concerts!

I want to add a personal anecdote. I live and make music in Japan. In my band I am the only female and the only non-Asian. On stage, at the second song I am swimming in my own sweat and the other 4 boys are only glistering a little tiny bit in their forehead. I swear to god its difficult for them to sweat.

On the newer songs really jhope stands out a lot - even before butter era like what you were saying - he is like pushing it a lot in a positive way - and yeah he totally got me during butter~ and finally added him as my bias as well together with jimin~ as i grow older my wrecker runs between rm/suga/jungkook
The funny think is I think of Hobi and Jin as opposite of what u said of them. Jin is so fun and crazy always messing with JK. And Hobi is the one keeping everyone together. He keep them focused, clean and happy.
I think that all the members have, like all us human beings have, a plethora of characteristics in them & the different qualities bust out more in each member at different times depending on what they're each & hat the team's going through. Like Hobi is sunshine personified but when it comes to their performing; the quality of their moves, the unison, flow, adherence to the choreo as taught; then JHope becomes instantly dead serious at times & that's his tendency when it comes to dance especially....so he took on the role early on of overseeing their choreo & coordinating 7 people's movements seamlessly & advising the team wherever he saw something they could do better. Hobi's focus on that undoubtedly was a big reason why they stood out from the start with dance skills, he helped make their performances as stellar as they were and stil are. Someone had to be able to oversee that, someone they'd all respect & also trust his opinion.
you'll notice they all have full complex personalities but all are truly amazing young men.
Oh, they sweat a lot, don't worry! Haha I guess they are so well trained that 1 song doesn't make them so sweaty as a whole set/concert.
I will never forget the first time I saw them sweaty. It was a revelation. I would say peak sweaty BTS recently was the Sowoozoo concert last year. Sweaty Namjoon took up residence in my lizard brain and remains to this day.
The crazy thing is: about 1 % of people in the world have this mutation where the sweat doesn't stink. And almost of all these people are from Korea. So they might be sweating buckets but probably still smell nice 😂
@@mybiasisot7779 I know. And even if they don't. (jk) I love how they share towels in the concerts, I guess this is one reason. The other being, that sweat is purely water, they drink, they sweat (as they don't tend to eat much or anything before concerts). Sweat composition is highly reliable on your nutrition.
I am weird and my mom says I smell like milk. I actually drink a lot of milk (for "normal"? adults) and cereals plus eggs and salads. ^^U and I remember having this conversation with close friends, and they usually greeted me by smelling me (yeah, weird, I got used to it lol)
I had 2 KR roommates. And I've lived with Japanese friends too. I can tell you I don't remember them "smelly", even when playing DDR or Just Dance all night with the Wii. XD

This video of them in the blue is Hobi’s stage no doubt, but NamJoon looks sooo cool as does Jimin. I love the sound of their voices and energy in this one too. In the car or with headphones you can hear the nuances and adlibs which makes this bop one of the sweetest!

Well they do bust sweat during concerts, you can see the sweat glistening on their face and neck.. idk why they don't sweat in stuff which are not live, maybe it's coz they sometimes shoot in highly cold weather.. and even when they shoot in hot weather they have staff to wipe off their sweat
Also my bias wreckers are Jin and Jimin,with RM as my bias.. so we got the same choices 😀💜

I am always been wrecked by someone no matter what you will always be into a specific member for timelapse. My bias is Yoongi but damn all of the other members what to win that spot. I've watched every member's funny moments, difficulties, and habits to try to know them more individually and that helped me. I suggest if you want you can react to videos of a specific member's funny moments or hardships.

You can always watch focus videos - like i mean its hard to all watch them in one frame - there are some performances where they have cam-focuses (atleast you will have better vision of each member)

Having a bias means it's hard to focus on anyone else. I have that problem. My biases are Suga and Hobi and as hard as I try to focus on the other boys, who I love with my heart, my eyes just drift back to them. The heart wants what the heart wants 💜🤷♀️
Roscoe, two things sweety. 1. You gotta see the live of this one the kid in you will loooove it! 2. The sweat thing. Tru fact, asians have different sweat patterns to us. It's apparently a genetic thing. They don't get BO as we do either because their sweat's chemical make up is different. Something like that anyways. :)

I have noticed a real inconsistency on what gets blocked and what doesn't. It strange, and confusing. And unfair. If they're going to block something for one 'reactor' (and we know how Roscoe hates being called that), then surely it should be blocked for all 'reactors'. But that isn't the case.

Hey Roscoe, the video is a bit blurry. IDK if it’s just me or not. The YT video is fine (probably because it’s small) but your face and the background is a little blurry or out of focus.
Side note: makes me happy that you’re noticing Jin (my bias) sooner than most reactors I watch. Since he doesn’t rap or dance well compared to the rest, I feel like he’s often overlooked. You’re still in the early years of Jin. He becomes even more fun after the FIRE era and later episodes of RUN BTS.

I had to laugh about the sweat! 🤣I've lived in Korea for years, and I've always thought that Koreans lack sweat glands! Until recently, I could not find deodorant/ anti-perspirant in stores and had to bring suitcase loads back from my travels! Of course Koreans have sweat glands, but generally speaking, Koreans do sweat less (some gene mutation I've just been reading about.)
